Probably about 20-25 lbs to be in proper condition(currently about 14 st 10 lbs).I haven't any current pics but this one is from 2005.I want to be in similar condition but fuller.Waist is currently 31.5 inches so I guess 3.5 to go?

Must admit I was a little worried about the lack of calories seen as the first few weeks are just a clean up really(although yesterday was a bit higher).I will stick at this until I stop losing weight though then maybe cycle the carbs a bit.

Lookin good jonno, diet looks pretty good also. Just one thing I noticed is that you seem to be pretty dependant on protein powder as a protein source.  Personally I'd use more whole foods rather than depending on powders....
Your looking good though brother and will do some damage at the show.

Thanks guys! I think you are right about the protein.I use powder more for convenience really but it's never as satisfying as solid food.

Well the shows been and gone and I placed terribly-5th out of 5 in a very strong class.I know it was only a warm up show but I was disappointed on the day.Took a lot of positives out of it though.Had a chat with the judges and I need to be more ripped-I was 4-6 lbs off-to stand out in the line up.They thought I had added upper body mass since my last show in 2005 but did not show the same condition particularly in the lower body.I have taken this on board and will endeavour to be shredded for my next show on 19th August-I'm not bothered where I place as long as I come in really ripped. Was up at 7 am this morning for 40 minutes power walking and plan to drop carbs to 100 g a day(after early morning cardio and after training only) except on leg day and chest/back day when I will up it to 200g.
Will post some photos when they come through as a reminder to myself how I must never look again.

well you obviously know what your doing. interestinf you keep the carbs so high.

I was gonna say he was going low with carbs.

The recommended carb-fat-protein energy percentage ratio is somewhere around 50/30/20.

And that is if you're eating high protein.

Recommended by sports scientists, not bodybuilders, that is.

Down to 100 g of carbs 5 days a week now with 200 g on the other two(protein around 220 g).Seems to be working but I do feel very tired as the day goes on.No point in moaning about it,though, cos no-one is making me do it and I could quit anytime I wanted.

A coat of Pro-Tan the night before,a coat of Dream Tan No. 2 rubbed well in on the morning of the show and another coat patted in before going onstage.I bought them online from the US and, even with $14.99 shipping,it was cheaper than buying just the Dream Tan in the UK ::)

Your legs are huge.  Everything looks good but the only thing I would say is maybe work on your arms a little bit more.  Add some more size.  Other than that very good.

Man your diet is obviously spot on.  I am not sure at this stage in your career if you will be able to add much more size as a natural.  How old are you?

Make sure you switch up your arm routine.. both biceps and triceps.  When I train arms I switch up the exercises everyweek.  I do barbell curls with ez and straightbar..concentrati on curls..both seated and standing..hammers.  I also train forearms and do wristcurls and reverse wristcurls with barbell and dumbell.  Triceps I do exercises like overhead extention with one dumbell.. switch off to two dumbells in each hand the next week, also use ez and straight barbell to do skullcrushers.. do some dips..kickbacks too.  I always switch off exercises and do different angles.  Most of my arm exercises I like to go a little extra heavier in weight.  I think it helps me to always switch up the exercises. How long have you been training?

That was at the start of my diet, mate. No cardio introduced until I stopped losing weight.Last 6 weeks has been 125 g of carbs per day and 40 mins cardio before breakfast.
Sodium doesn't really matter until the final week hence the rice cakes.
