Hi everyone. I have a vacation coming up in the middle of June, and I want to look my best for it. I know I need to eat clean and work hard, (and believe me I am ready to kick some ass in the gym)...but I just want to make sure I am working hard and doing the RIGHT things!!! OK... I am going to post my stats (this is NOT easy for me)!!! I am 5"2 and I weigh 130 lbs. Im not sure of my bf % but I dont think it is too high. My problem area is my legs. I will soon be forced to put on a swimsuit, and I realize I cannot look perfect in the amount of time I have but, I just need a bit of advice!! Please...what should I be doing in the gym...

hard to say. i dont know whether youve been working out before or not. but basically you cant do miracles in 1,5 month. but you should train your whole body, say at least 3 times a week. if your bodyfat isnt much of a problem you dont need pay too much attention to it, but you can at least try to cut down on the most obvious visible fats, sweets etc. a good choice of bikini, getting tanned BEFORE the vacation would probably be as important for the way you look as the time spent at the gym. as for a routine for the gym, isnt there a lot of girls magazines out there saying 'get in shape for summer' almost everyone seems to have that cover :D

reduce your carbs, and join a spinning class at your gym( attend 7 days a week ). IN two weeks you could have your legs shreaded, but it all depends on how long you can go without carbs.

Spinning is great, no telling what it will do to your legs though. Most women hold a lot of fat/muslce there and sometimes high intesity, high resistance exercises (spinning inparticular) actually makes them bigger.
Go to the nutrition board for diet and advice and don't listen to darksol.

i suggest not losing any weight and wearing a thong anyway, i love thick legs and round asses, 5'2" 130 pounds doesn't sound that big anyway unless you're in an anorexia rehab clinic, when will women just leave the dieting alone and pack some meat on theor bones.
