Title: Is not using steroids = turning back on God and unchristian and immoral?
Post by: Bluto on May 01, 2007, 11:20:17 AM
I'm having this thoughts that by not taking steroids I turn the back on God and I feel a great shame  >:(

I'm pretty confident God wants me to be "the best i can be" and i cheat myself of that by refusing to take steroids. Maybe I wont even go to Heaven?

Could it be only those who take steroids go to heaven? It is possible after all.

This has been bothering me for quite some time now.

Your thoughts would have no bearing if you didn't believe in heaven or hell or were ignorant to the concept of them... 8)

Nevertheless, the thoughts are real.

Nevertheless, the thoughts are real.

your thoughts are real, but you have no evidence that God is watching or listening to you. You dont' even have any evidence that you will be judged for admittance into a place called Heaven.

Without any evidence of a reward or some kind of retribution it is actually neurotic to be worried about it. Your faith is actually creating unwarrented fear. And your fear may lead you to do something destructive. That is the nature of unquestioning faith without doubt.

I would say trust yourself, research the best science you can find on steroids and decide if it is right for you.

God gave man the ability to think of roids so therefore roids are God roids. Take god roids to become godlike (see where I'm going) and you'll be fine

hahah  I'd rather read "Cat in the Hat" than the bible.  The plots at least seem real.

You should never base your actions on what "God" thinks, that is simply foolish.  It's how you feel about you that really matters.  If you're ok with ingesting tons of gear, then have fun.  I would if it weren't so laughably easy to make gains on them.  I don't take magic pills or injections for my gains, just regular hard work for years.  Something most people simply can't do, that's what makes it even better.
Good luck.

Well, you don't have any evidence that God ISN'T watching or listening to you, I'll just play it safe and assume that he is!
