This should be the highest grossing income fight of all time. Both fighters are getting 8 figure paydays. I hope Oscar puts Mayweather in his place and on his ass. PPV 55 bucks. If the press conferences are anything to believe, they have a genuine hatered fore eachother. Can't wait.

I'm with you. I hope Oscar beats his ass. Sadly, I think Mayweather is going to win. I hope Im wrong. :-[
I must have spoken to about 50 people about this fight - and every single person (including myself and you 2 guys, has said the same thing - they want de la hoya to teach this cocky fuck a lesson, but they dont think it is gonna happen :-\

it would be hiloarious to see oscar punch a hole in floyd..but i don't think it'll happen..but as floyd sr. says oscar needs to keep floyd punching..apparently mayweather has soft hands and in a couple of his fights he usually breaks one of his hands..so if Oscar can keep floyd punching away sooner or later one of his mitts is going to give away and Oscar may have a chance...but i think its going to end up being a popularity contest and if it goes the distance floyd will win because the fans love him...

Honestly,
This fight has all the makings of a trilogy. Or at least a rematch if the first fight is close. I really don't think Mayweather has the power to knock Oscar out at this weight. Remember, Oscar is the naturally bigger fighter and is more comfortable at this weight class than Floyd is.
I totally agree with the guy who earlier mentioned that Oscar needs to keep Mayweather punching. He's got soft hands and they injure easily. The delicacy of his hands was a big issue for Mayweather earlier in his career and I'm very suprised that the hype surrounding this fight hasn't brought up the subject at all.
I would be great if Oscar was still in his prime for this fight. Nevertheless, it should be interesting............. .

I think Oscar will win

Chances are Floyd is gonna be running most of the fight and land just enough punches to get a boring decision. Hopefully he hurts his hand again and makes a mistake which would more than likely end with him on his back staring up at the lights. Oscar is bigger, hits harder, has a good chin, has decent handspeed, and is probably the best overall fighter floyd has fought yet. My only knock on Oscar is he is weak to the body and I think Floyd is gonna base his gameplan around that. Oscar on the other hand is most famous for his left hook, that's why I think he is going to base his gameplan around his right hand, I noticed that was the punch he was ending with when he was working the mitts with Freddie Roach. I would have to put my prediction in a percentage, 65% Mayweather 35% De La Hoya.

I ordered it yesterday. Oscar is the bigger fighter, but Floyd has a lower body fat %, which just might make him the bigger man. I'd like to see a replay of Oscar and Hopkins, only Oscar lands the shots that Floyd has only dreamed of being hit with. Anybody who caries 30k around for spending money deserves a beatdown and the Golden Boy will take Floyd to the limit. And yea those brittle mitts........

who is going to be watching it?
