Title: MP3 player or portable CD player ??

my discman has just crapped out on me and im looking at getting a new one. is it a better idea to get a mp3 player(never had one) or just get another portable CD player?

Definatley get an MP3 player, Blinky. They are a fraction of the size and hold a LOT more music. Worth the investment. :)

thats what i was thinking and why i thought maybe to go with the mp3.
are there any advantages to having a portable CD player over a mp3 player? is there a reason why someone would want that instead?
