Title: A new Pro Bodybuilder Death Pool?
Post by: Stark on May 08, 2007, 07:06:55 AM
Don't we need a new death pool?

Who do you think is top on the list kicking the bucket and why?

Could go Lee Priest for the Dead Pool.  Well, then again on second thoughts, he probably will end up in a psych ward fully medicated.

I'll have Derek Anthony or Billy Guns...these are two aids/depression induced suicides just waiting to happen.

He was pretty upset that he is on the current deathpool, at least that's what TA said.

Yeah I remember that.  And TA only speaks the truth.  Well, and bullshit.  But pretty sure this one is truth.  Can't see anyone being thrilled that they made a list of soon to be dead at a young age people.

Well that's the thing that confuses me... if somebody would do a deathpool and include me I would not be upset, since you technicaly could die any minute, I don't know what effect this deathpool had on let's say marketing advertisment ect issue?
But I cannot imagine that he was upset simply because it reminded him of his own mortality.

Branch.

Ok, I know in principle the "dead pool" is a creepy idea, but it has been a reality in our sport.
I saw Branch in person recently at the Jr's and when he is NOT on stage flexing he looks pretty healthy.
I agree , on stage he looks like he could explode, but that is his dense, ripped freaky look.

I dunno.  I think Branch is married or engaged so maybe it upset his better half which in turn would upset Branch.

Yeah I actually have to agree with that.  I've never met the man in person but clothed and offstage in pictures with other people he looks completely different.  He has that BP so high he might explode look onstage, but off he almost looks like he deflates down to a "normal" look.

They've given special mentions before.  DA has been on the list.  Think they called him Vito Vanity or something like that.  Trevor Smith as well but sadly that one came true.

why Branch?

lmao..he can't hit a pose without turning purple like barney

you can tell he has obvious blood pressure issues, he looks 20 years older then he is, and he always looks tired.

great bodybuilder, but hes an example of everything bad in bodybuilding, minus G4P (and thats probably not ruled out)

It's the jolly giant attitude.  Low stress is good for the heart.  And the cigarettes for a lil balance.
