if there was ever a strongman who i would believe was drug free it would be him, 5'9" 385 pounds, probably born to lift big weights.

John Grimek claims he witnessed Paul Anderson squat 900 pounds for 10 reps.  His thighs measured 36 inches and when he "dieted down" to 330 his thighs had cuts.  :o

I read allot of articles on Paul and his life story
He is one of the guys who stand out as a genuine guy not into self promotion or deception, I would put my money on drug free.

Couldn't find a vid but he did squat 1008 in the IPF around '94 or so at 23 yrs of age (here is pic) ...he then switched to Olympic lifting and was a 2x olympian...at 5'9" 350 lbs he could dunk a basketball and had a 40" vertical

Hitting such a number by 23 is not a natural act.

Nevertheless it is incredible!
