I know Lou had a falling out with his brother and father over the Ferrigno name lawsuit and some other past personal stuff but I really doubt he would have not attended his father's funeral.

You mean the $20 cocksucking incident? They never proved that Louie was raped and molested by his father.

if a guy skips his father's funeral wouldn't you think that he had a good reason for doing that?

Not really, there are only a very view things of the top of my head I can imagine why somebody wouldn't go to his fathers funeral, like with many things in life an funeral is pretty final and there should be only one for each of us, so unless he has been molested raped or tortured I say fuck the small differences and go get to his funeral.

i'm not sure ANYBODY could come up with a reasonable excuse not to attend his fathers funeral. an exception to that would be if he was a total scumbag and even at that he would've had to have been one and not have ever asked any kind of forgiveness. my father was on his death bed back in 03 well in the 80's and early 90's he threw us through walls knocked our teeth out that kinda thing he quit right around 91 i think it was but never asked anybody to forgive him till 12 years later. all of us stepped up forgave him and went to our fathers funeral(he had 8 kids). so really no matter what your father does to you when your lookin at losin him and he askes you to forgive him your gonna do it.

i really think funerals are stupid, whatever time you spent with the person while they were alive is what matters.  its more for the friends and family.  but instead of worrying about making funerals its better to actually make the effort to see the person one last time before they die, if possible. funerals make more sense when the departed got whacked or died in a freak accident.

If you read Lou's book, you would understand where he is comming from. the first part of the book covers how his father robbed him emotionaly as a child and into his adult life. Constantly putting him down for his hearing issues and stating that he would never win and that he sounded like a retard when he spoke on the camera and no-wonder he could hardly get coverage audio wise after a win. Also said that Arnold would always beat him in everything in life because he could hear and speak better than Lou. His father apparently hung up on Joe Weider when he called for Lou to come out to California- jealousy.
His father said to him in regards to his comeback in the 90's.........."to not expect any support from me"- "I just can't bear to see you lose again- you have no chance against these young guys today"

I don't need to read his book to know where he is coming from. He's a jerk. Period.

Cauze it was exaclty two months before a contezt, he's dead there'z nothing to be done ;D. If this is true, it could be because Lou's dad used to mock him because of his speech and hearing problems.

If what Lou claims there is true, then I can't blame him if he indeed didn't attend the funeral.

I know this thread is about Lou supposedly not attending his fathers funeral but i wanna know.
Dose anyone think its cool that he charges for his autographs? On PBW he said something like he thinks its ok if he charges $20 for his autograph or to have a picture taken with him, but did he really achieve that much in bodybuilding. I realise he is a very well known bodybuilder but i mean current (better) bodybuilders dont charge anything for an autograph or to have a picture taken with them. Why does he? just wondering what you guys think. :)

I can sort of see where he's coming from. Other bodybuilders like Jay and Ronnie have generous contracts from supplement companies and are obligated to give some of their merchandise away for free, but because Lou doesn't have a contract, he brings those photos to conventions to sell them to make money. I've attended several of the conventions that Lou has and there are B-movie stars who don't have a fraction of the recognition that he has but still charge the exact same amount for an autographed photo.
