Its on the Chute Boxe website, Shogun has officially signed for UFC and could make his debut as early as UFC 72 on June 16th. I give him 18 months at most to become LHW champion, this is what we are needing as fans. Tito, Rashad, Forrest, Keith - meet your new daddy

Rampages reign as Lightheavy champ may be short lived. ;D

Nice.
I don't really like Rampage nor Lidell so it'll be good to see Shogun battle it out with Sokoudjou soon.

I said awhile back that Pride would eventually be absorbed by the UFC. At this point, I doubt there will ever be another Pride show.

i really don't know why they would sign athletes and run both organazations seperate. it would be great if they would put them together and get these dream matches going. a tournament would be great.

UFC rules will hurt Chute Boxe fighters the most. He still has a helluva a clinch game, decent sub game, and with the ability to use elbows on the ground, he may be a player in the LHWs.
-
There are also rumors that Mayhem Miller and another upper level 205lb Pride fighter fighter were signed along with Shogun with the announcement to be this Sat. on the PPV.

Have you ever paid attention as to how he gets those guys to the ground for those kicks and stomps? He'll be fine.
I've been telling my friends that the fight I'd love to see is Machida/Shogun. Make that happen Dana.

What would Shogun get out of fighting the loser?
-
Shogun is ready, he doesnt need a warm up match for a title shot. IMo he would beat down Rampage or sub him should he try to make any slams. Its almost a mis match, because Shogun is THAT good. Chuck is slightly tougher because its very hard to get him on the ground, and almost impossible to keep him there. If he can formulate a plan to keep him down then he stands a very good chance of beating him. Within 18 months he will be world number 1 at 205

if chuck lose you will have to have "i submit to Bluto" in as your signature for 2 weeks ;) (and vice versa)
