I can remember playing Monopoly, Go for Broke, Question of Sport, Heroquest, and I am sure there are loads more.  There was always someone who got a board game or two at Christmas.

been a long time though. im sure some of those would be fun to bring back and play even today

Loved Stratego. Had the electronic version. Still play scrabble all the time on the computer. Anyone ever want to play me online(assuming there is a site for it), let me know.
