I asked my fiancee to go a month without make-up, of course she can still get her hair done, but the deal is no make-up for a month! Could you do it or how long would you be willing do it for?
-
I guess the answer is never lol!
-
Depends...
What do YOU consider make-up? Some women wouldn't step foot out of the house without lipstick.
A month seems a bit excessive. Maybe start out with a week.
-
The ugly truth :'(

Well, I have to go a month without sex or any form of sexual gratification, that's my end of the deal. >:(
Make-up= anything that you put on your face that covers up the real you, i.e. Hair coloring, Lipstick, lip gloss, Blush, foundation, plucking eyebrows, eye shadow, and eye liner etc.
Why do women have to wear make-up but men do not? Or maybe the better question is why do women allow this to happen?

The ugly truth :'(
Exactly my point! I will add this, I thought she was beautiful the way she was.

Do you guys have some sort of bet going?

She won't be able to pluck her eyebrows? But that's not make-up!

Some men do wear make-up :)
In general if women want to wear make-up they will...if they don't, they won't. I have a friend who never wears it...except when she was doing shows.

Some men do wear make-up :) Yes I am aware of this :)

I challenge you to 2 weeks (under normal conditions) without the paint. Let's experiment, let's see how folk react or respond to the change.

Well if she can't pluck, she shouldn't be able to shave. Are you willing to deal with hairy armpits, legs and other areas? ;)

Oh yes indeed and I don't the natural look at all! Moreover, my lady has a wonderful scent to me!

Yes I do, and this won't fly in most places but the question is how do you feel about this?

Well, hell! Why don't you add not showering to the list too ;)
-

I have gone long periods of time without make up (when I am tanned I do not wear it at all). But I would not ever stop shaving. That just wouldn't happen.

LOL good one not realistic though! C'mon Princess L try it for one week tell me how it goes?

Would you feel less attractive if you didn't shave and I'm not talking until you get the ZZtop look?

Like Laura, when I'm tan, I don't really wear any, however, I'm not tan very often ~ 'cept after vacation. Fortunately, plucking and shaving would not be a problem (very little, very fine, and very light hair). Couldn't go without eyebrows tho! They're soooo light, they're practically clear which makes them nearly invisible :-[

Good for you!

Less attractive? No. But I would feel less of a woman. I like to be smooth and silky...which is how I think a woman should feel, not scruffy, stubbly and hairy....that's for men. ;)

Nothing wrong with smooth and silky! I love it but if a woman decided not to, e.g. shave her legs or put make-up on I would not say she is less than a woman. You feeling less of a woman because of a natural bodily function (hair growth) that's a bit extreme you think?

well put darlin' whoever decided women should not have hair under their arms was definitely a man. Or maybe it was Cleopatra, she had slaves to pluck her.
I've never worn makeup nor will I. People say oh but you don't need it.
I'll admit that I have though, put on mascara and lipstick for the occasional big dress and heels event. It's scary and it gets all over the place and I hate makeup.

I've just read your thread. Glad it's about body hair too. I've a great deal to say about that subject. Unfortunately I too (against my better judgement and principles) love defoliating my legs etc. and getting into fresh clean sheets. That's a dreamboat.
Makeup is another matter. I think (I know) it wrecks your skin.
Mascara is definitely disgusting. Lipstick tastes horrid.

Well maybe the words I typed were wrong. I mean less feminine. And I like being feminine. :)

Nothing wrong wit

I've decided that plucking and shaving should be considered basic personal hygiene and therefore not included as part of Hustle's negotiation process. ;)

I guess I just love the natural beauty but I am not against make-up especially "for the occasional big dress and heels event." There is so much pressure on women to look different than they really look! To me the pressure of being perfect has ruined many women especially younger ones hence implants, botox injections and lipos to name a few, ofc course many men will call me crazy on this one! Good for you Linda!

Babes, who decided that women do not have body hair?
(I've already said that I too, prefer to feel silky), but nevertheless
I'm sure it was a balding man

I like a woman with makeup and her hair and nails done, so I would prefer if none of you went more than a day or so.
-
go for that high maintenance and unreal woman then. But I bet she won't get her hands dirty and risk wrecking her manicure to polish your chrome.

sorry to re-iterate, but could you please explain this to me? Just who decided that? Some man attempting to define feminity? Give me a break.

Thanks darling, I'm truly fine. I'm perfect for me. But I haven't shaved my legs today because it's been raining all week and I'm wearing jeans again tomorrow. Thanks for asking...

I was not expecting extremes, clearly Whoopi G either went too far with the plucking or she has an over abundance of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which is concentrated on her brow area. The other, well we all know thats make-up lol.

Femininity comes from within, ...not from a tube of lipstick.
After years of spending my days all made up to the nines, with teams of make-up artists, and hair dressers constantly primping, fussing, and touching me up every 10 - 15 mins, ...I enjoy going au naturelle.
In the last couple years, I've gone months at a time without wearing makeup. It's so much better for the skin. The sad part tho is when I do appy makeup these days, ...it takes me forever. I used to be able to do the whole shabang in 15 mins flat, while drinking a coffee, and reading sides. Now I'm lucky if I can apply my eyeliner straight, in under 20 mins. <lol>
