::) Another gem from Seamus O Cumcraverty. Shame about Argentina, ha ha ha
I've just put on Physical graffiti, Zeppelins best, to celebrate the great man.

That was quite witty for you, good job. Though when you get over 50 points put on you, I wouldn't throw stones :)

The current 'England' team can't even throw stones, let alone a rugby ball :-\

The only thing you invade is your girlfriend's CD collection looking for Richard Marx and Culture Club ::)

I'm off to listen to Manowar >:(
you need a lot of manowar to make up for your signed kelly osbourne record! :D

I was going to see Manowar this July, but the festivel they're doing is in the middle of nowhere, and the support bands are shit.

No comment :'(

The only signed 'records' I have are my Wolfsbane cassettes signed by Blaze Bayley >:(

I refuse to see Manowar until they play on English soil again.
-
It'll never happen. Joey said they're not popular enough and they couldn't bring they're sound system. He would rather the fans travel and see them in they're full glory. This does make sense because nothing compares to Manowar live. Nothing! They make Maiden look like a pub band.
HAIL AND KILL
-
The only reason Manowar wouldn't play over here is because Kerrang made a joke about them and they refused to play here since. Manowar could easily play England, especially given the number of fans would would travel from Europe to see that, but it is much easier to play 15 times in Germany and earn some Euros ::)

Translation: i'm to poor to leave my crack den in Cork and need an excuse not to travel

I have the cassete of Massive Noise Injection. Its great, and Blaze certainly knew how to work a crowd! Why he was picked for Maiden though is a complete mystery. Steve Harris must have stolen some crack from you.

Thankfully I live nowhere near Cork :P

There were no other British Metal vocalists to chose from at the time. Though I do like the X-Factor, cool album.
-
I'm so metal I'm listening to the Moody Blues for breakfast. A true metal head admits his guilty pleasures like Stephen Perry's Foolish Hearts!

The X factor is not only Maidens worst album, but possibly the worst metal album ever. Boring, plodding, aimless and devoid of everything that made Iron Maiden great. Personally i wouldn't have minded if they had a foreign singer [as long as they wern't 'American']

Its true that every metaller has his guilty pleasure - mine is Puffy AmiYumi. Sayonara :-X

Vitual XI is by far the worst Maiden album, though it has some good songs, followed closely by No Prayer for the Dying. Bruce should have just got counselling and got over his mid-life crisis and we wouldn't have to have had this debate. :P
And my guilty pleasures of loving folk, prog and classical music is well documented.

But if Bruce hadn't of left we wouldn't have got The Chemical Wedding - the second best album of all time [behind Kings of Metal].
Virtual XI is dreadful, but No Prayer had some good songs. I love Holy Smoke! One of my fave Maiden tracks, and probably their heaviest.
Do you like Porcupine Tree?

I could live without Bruce's early solo career, Shunkworks makes me sick.... :-X
Holy Smoke is a good song, as is No Prayer for the Dying but two songs does not maketh an album.
Porcpine Tree I could take or leave, wouldn't spend money on them. ELP and King Crimson are my Prog loves.

I've got Rick Wakeman's Journey to the centre of the Earth, and the King Arthur album. Used to love them whilst pilling :P
Don't like ELP, like In the Court of King Crimson though. I enjoy the music of Yes, but his horrible voice makes me feel ill. That's as far as my progginess goes - unless you count Dream Theater.
-
Speaking of horrible vocals, I love Rush as well :D
-
I got given 2112 [?] a few years ago, but other than the first song i thought it was shit. I threw it away.
-
His druming in achilles last stand was amazing!
No one could bang it like him.

Damn straight,that song kicks.
Bonzo's Montreux is another good one.
