Title: Bush fights to *stop* meatpackers from testing for Mad Cow
Post by: ribonucleic on May 31, 2007, 02:05:30 PM
<< Larger meat companies feared that move because, if Creekstone should test its meat and advertised it as safe, they might have to perform the expensive tests on their larger herds as well. >>

Here we have Republicanism in its purest form...

They're not just determined to enrich big business at the cost of your tax dollars. They're determined to enrich big business at the cost of your life.

I'd love to hear the justification for this bullschit.

I buy Creekstone products all the time, they're a little more expensive but the quality is generally higher.

Another winner from the what just might be the worst President in the history of the U.S.A., certainly the worst in my lifetime.

Someone impeach Bush/Cheney and get those two train wrecks out of office. How much more damage can he do in 18 months?  :-X

Bizarre.  Must be a money thing.

If you want to read an entertaining history of mad cow, check out "Deadly Feasts" by Richard Rhodes.  Scary too.
