poor pistons. Pretty sure I saw danielson crying on someone's shoulder too.
-
Who?
-
danielson lives up in the detroit area . . . posts on here a lot.
-
it will be a good series with the spurs if the make it ot the
finals ;)

why'd you edit your post? I wanted to say something nasty about the spurs, but then you got diplomatic ;D
-
The Cavs will get destroyed by the Spurs if they beat Detroit I think.
-
ratings tank every time the spurs are in the finals. I'd rather watch paint dry than duncan and the spurs play . . . :-\ the only players who give you your money's worth these days are kobe and lebron.

The Spurs are scoring in the 100's practically every night. What makes other teams fun? Dunking and losing by twenty? :-\

I hate watching Kobe play, he's a crap leader and cant handle a team as the main man.To me wade and lebron are the best to watch.

ah, a purist. Wear your copy of Hoosiers out yet? ;D
I'd rather watch the nineties Bulls. And so would most of America, apparently. the spurs produce the worst ratings in the finals, and its not b/c they're a small market team. Put Lebron in there, and watch the ratings go through the roof. pretty sure cleveland's a smaller mkt than SA.

Kobe = shitty character, but still probably the best player in the game.

Yeah, those Eastern Conference Finals are a pure joy to watch. It's all about matchups. Watching the Spurs play the Suns or Dallas is awesome.
Watching them play the Pistons is probably as bad as watching the Pistons play Cleveland. Did you not see the first four games? Excruciating.

it's a question of taste. Watching Novitzki crumple under pressure once again, or Duncan and co. wage their wars of attrition is definitely not my cup of tea . . .
I'm glad I watched the 5 games of the EC finals. W/o games 1 & 2, Lebron's performance in 3,4 and 5 doesn't have quite the punch. I'll bet game 6 has the highest ratings of all this year's post-season . . . the people know a good thing when they see it.

I would think GS and Dal or Spurs/Suns got better ratings.
By the way, how is the weather in Cleveland? ;D

I think I would still rather have D-Wade.

;D no connection to cleveland here . . .

I think I would still rather have D-Wade.
why?
-
why?
He is every bit as good offensively as Lebron and he blows him out of the water on defense.
-
wade needs more size if he's going to last . . . and he doesn't really have the frame to carry it. but he might still wind up having one more ring than Lebron . . . although I would be surprised if the latter didn't win it all in the near future.
-

I havnt been able to decide between Wade and Lebron for 2 seasons, Id take them both over Kobe though, I dont get Kobe's hype, he's just another Dominique Wilkens/Bernard King/Tracy Mcgrady to me, able to put up 30 for a season but as a leader and as far as BB IQ goes he's awful.

I think he'll be alright at the size he is only because I thought the same thing about A.I. but he has lasted for years getting beat up at 160 lbs.
-

Yeah, but as long as Eva Longoria is sleeping with David Stern, the Spurs are going to be in the Finals.

More size??Put down the crackpipe son he's already has one of the best physiques in the league, any more muscle and it will slow him down and hurt his game.Iverson does just fine at just 165 pounds.

HAHA great minds..

Too bad there's not an NBA equivalent of a one-on-one league.

I know what you mean. A great player is supposed to make his teammates better, not worse.

everyone knows its popovich who's been sleeping w stern. longoria came on the scene much later.

Even when the offenses are struggling, getting tight games and good basketball in the 4th quarter with tons of clutch shots has made this a very enjoyable series.
If you're a basketball fan, you're kicking yourself if you missed the 4th quarter and OT of tonite's game. LeBron put on a display that - no matter what happens the rest of the playoffs - has elevated him to 'legend' status. 25 straight points is just insane, and to do it ON THE ROAD in the ECF makes it all the more special.

the amazing thing is that the Pistons actually played a good game tonight . . . their offense finally seemed to hit its stride.

It seems weird thinking back that he shot one of the worst airballs ive ever seen in OT within all that greatness.

keep hating on the spurs douches. they dont notice the trivial chatter of the peon hordes seeing as how they are too busy WINNING
-
Lebron!! where the f**k do they get these names ::)

Haha. At first i thought "James" was his first name.
Someone tell me: since when did it become cool to name your kids "Lebron, Laquisha, etc. ?
-
And Lebron is just a baby...I can't really imagine what he is going to evolve into by the time he is Kobe's age...
-

I thought Tony Parker was sleeping with David Stern?

Yeah, it's *so* tough for the Spurs when they're playing 8-on-5. ::)
-
This is another horrid series by Detroit, even with James the Pistons should have DESTROYED Cleavland in 5 games at the most.
Now they are on the Verge of going home early again which is inexcusable with the caliber of players they have. The team will be blown up if they lose this series! Poor Webber, every time he goes to a team with the ability to get to the finals, something always goes horribly wrong. :'(

Maybe Webber is the problem.
-
Here's a clip of some of the last minutes of the game:
If James gets to the finals it's probably going to be a repeat of Iverson a one-man team being shut down by a better team. Detroit-Spurs would be more interesting.
-
I hope the cavs can pull off the series upset.
God forbid a spurs and pistons final, it would be boring as fuck.
Lebron in the finals would draw a lot of ratings as people would just for the sake of drawing comparisons to jordan and kobe.
-
agree......

I am going to the bar the bar to watch them in a few AG, but I really don't give a fuck if they win or not. I am more of a Lions fan 8)

You don't care about the Tigers either? ::)

Nope, just The Lions.

Go Bears.
;D
-
Maybe Webber is the problem.
Exactly. It's so funny that EVERY time he gets traded, the media goes giddy over what he 'brings' to a team. ::)
And then I read something on ESPN.com about this being the 'end of an era' in Detroit, because Webber and Billups were eligible for free agency.
Somehow, I can't recall seeing Webber on the bench during the Pistons' recent title runs. Ya know why? BECAUSE HE WASN'T THERE! *sheesh*
I thought it was a mistake to let Ben Wallace go, but the real mistake this organization made was in thinking that Flip Saunders had the ability to coach the best team in the East to a title.
