Pheromones are very real.
Watch most men when they walk past a woman they like or are neutral about in a shopping mall they tilt their head slightly to the side to sample her pheromone trail.
They do it with out even noticing it.
If I see a woman i don't like I actually hold my breath slightly when I walk past.

Woman who are pregnant in their first trimester have intoxicating pheromone trails.
I used to walk into my managers office even when she was not in because of it.

When people meet and just don't like each other it is because they don't like one another pheromones "their chemicals clash"

is cologne really necessary?

I can't imagine a girl becoming interested in a guy just because his cologne smells good, he has to have a bunch of other things going for himself for the cologne to make a difference

I hate perfume

I've always said I'm allergic to it.  I'm actually not, I just dislike it.

xL

oh and when they come at you in the department store with the please try this spray crap I say fuck off, i'm going to the second floor and
looking for a rain hat.

I don't mind the ads though, that Davidoff Cool Blue bloke (and they get another new one each season), is lovely.

They're selling it like it gives you muscles.

My wife seems to like "Joop" or "Burburry" (sp?) on me...especially when I sweat (wear it for work, workout after work)...weird huh?

I get LOTS of compliments on the Joop from chicks at work. Even had my manager (a guy) ask me what I wear cause his wife liked it when I met her.

just b/c a cologne works for one guy doesn't mean that it's going to work for all guys.

it depends on how it interacts w the particular guy's 'chemistry.'

100% agree that different colognes smell different on different people.

But, in general, my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE is Chanel Allure........with Armani Code being a close 2nd.

If he's wearing Acqua di Gio...ewwwwwwwwwww...... ..that stuff IMO is vile and makes me wanna vomit.

My favorite smell in the whole world is how a woman smells right out of the shower on a really hot day. That clean/sweat smell that kills me.
