what combos have you seen and in what order

me First Blood/later the david morrell book

the firm the book, then later dissapointed by the movie

full metal jacket, dug the film so much I found the book, the Shorttimers-different ending, joker shoots cowboy

the book american psycho, much later the movie-both are great

should I spoil the Short Timers even more?  Joker kills Cowboy, when one of the guys is slowly being shot to death by the sniper.  Cowboy goes out to  kill this Marine to put him out of his pain, turns the gun on himself but is shot by the sniper before he can kill himself.  he begs joker to shoot him and joker does.
