Yeah....cancer and the myiad of other diseases affect way more people..and people who can pay, so they will put the cash towards going after them more effectively.

yeah but aids brings in more money as a disease than it would as a cure...
my theory is..if one of the bush daughters gets aids tomorrow 3 weeks later hallelujah brotha..we're gonna have a miracle cure..

They make more money keeping you hooked than they do healing you.
The best bet in life is practicing safe sex, eating healthy and exercising.. I don't care for the medical industry because I don't fucking trust them.

the crazy thing now is that doctors, especially a specialist, have deals with the drug companies... that means the drug companies control the doctors. My wife has ulcerative colitis and her original GI specialist tried to tell her that diet had nothing to do with the ulcers and that she just needed to stay on the meds...well it didn't work and he just kept upping the dosage...needless to say she had to spend 2 weeks in the hosipital because he wouldn't do anything besides up the dosage of a drug that wasn't even working for her... when she got out we switched and her new GI specialist told her that it is almost 100% diet and that she can control it with very little prescription drugs... also the drug she was on was a danger to her kidneys when used in the amounts she was taking.

Thanks bro... it is tough to watch... when she is sick, it affects every aspect of her life. she sleeps almost constantly, can't eat very much, low low energy levels... it sucks. and the only cure is to remove the affected part of the colon, which is an extreme surgery for someone so young(she is 22).

Oh yeah, I have insurance... and currently she is in control, but when it was bad... it was really bad. We live in Arlington, TX and her new Specialist is doing wonders and plus he is isn't just trying to keep her on meds... I appreciate your concern. it's obvious you know exactly how debilitating UC can be! Thanx Bro!
