Was working with HR today, trying to hire a couple of engineers...
I sit down with her, first thing the little skank does is google each canidate name, then try to find if they have any shit on myspace, youtube, facebook, linked in etc...
Prints it out and file it in.
Beware of putting too much shit out there....

What's the point of a myspace page?
People who spend hours on a cellphone/blackberry for reasons other then work and have myspace pages are usually shallow and stupid. This is just my own subjective observation of course.

I don't have an account on myspace or anything like that, but i've told so many people this sh*t happens and they don't even know it.
I always said if you do a page set it to private or else you better be selling your trade or be somewhat tasteful on your page. Just don't be surprised if you can't fig out why you didn't get that nice $$$ job in this day and age if your pimping how big a hoe u r or your personal sh*t all over the web.
When they do a background check now...they mean a full BACKGROUND CHECK. lol.
Basically if you are a pro at what you do, don't get envolved in the myspace evolution. You'd be amazed at how many people get X'd over a myspace page now. I'm telling you. lol.
I still to this day get people asking me to set up a page, yadda, yadda. Bullsh*t. Not me. lol Lambs to the slaughter.

when people register they type in their first and last name
when searching you type that in and brings up their page regardless what name they have on the page
