I did a brutal day of LEGS just now, and while driving home I threw up on my self .......
What makes the body do that internet experts ??
4 X Squats
3 X Leg Presses
3 X Lunges
4 X Leg Extensions
2 X Lying Leg Curl
2 X Stiff Legged Deads
3 X Calf Raises
2 X Lower Back Extensions (concentrating on the squeezing of hams and glutes (no homo) )
then... Ran around the track for a few laps...
10 minutes later...heart beating....
Blahhhhhhhhhhhhh all over my damn self...

Most on squats is a measly 405 for 7
Leg Presses i put up 8 plates on each side
lunges which are the worse by time i get to them, i just use 135 on my back...
stiff deads, I use 90 lbs dumbbells
and on calf anything i got the max...ththey are my genetic gift, i guess comes with being asian or something..
the main thing i look for is for the burn that hurts so bad that you want to either fall down or get up and walk away...

blood rushes from head and stomach to muscle -- in this case legs. leaves you with a queasy feeling --> throw up.

it happens to stupid people who eat too much just before working out.

I never eat within 2 hours before working out and I sometimes puke after squats..I think it is because It is such a hard workout cardio wise...just like when people run too much they often get sick.

Try breathing when squatting as well. That's helpful.

I've been in the mid 600's many times and never had that problem and never seen anybody get to that point neither.....
maybe I need to work harder ???

Stupid advice, doing 30 rep squats while holding your breath forces more blood to the thighs.

Try breathing when squatting as well. That's helpful.
I think it has a lot to do with that.We all know it is important to breath while lifting but at least for me it is not unusual for me to hold my breath during difficult reps.I know better than this but I catch myself doing it sometimes. I also tend to drink too much water between sets I think.

If you puked from that workout you're in horrible cardiovascular condition unless you're going as heavy as possible and only resting about 30 seconds between sets. Even then you should't puke except from maybe the squats...

What about is sports like football etc, when i used to play in pre-season we had guys throwing up all the time......by the logic stated here it could be due to not being able to get enough air in, because its not that they weren't breathing. And I'm pretty sure its not due too eating before training. Does anyone actually know for real because it is an interesting topic 8).
