Son Of A Bitch, Everything's Real.
Now, I'm not sure I even want to do this. I always thought I'd be able to have a drinky or three socially and not become alcoholic.
But I socialized too much and drank more than enough.
Every night.
Then I started just spending my dosh on two bottles of Pino Grigio and inviting the neighbours 'round. It was cheaper and more fun than going out. That lasted maybe ten years.
Then I ended up on a webchatsiteforum for bodybuilders in America and got completely sloshed. Any suggestions?
I'd hoped to still be able to drink a bit once in a while
I do not want to have to go to AA and swear it off.
It hasn't affected my looks yet.
Should I go back to the shops or not?

love ya, mean it...
slurp hic.
I don't actually need to go back out, there's another bottle in the fridge.
Thanks AlG
So maybe I don't quit, I just cut down.
Someone told me that at a massive party once. I was getting the drinks for everyone as usual. I said Do you need another? as I'm chucking bottles at everyone.
He said, No thankyou, I just sip.
Me, I'm a lush. Wish I could just sip.

Wow, must be some powerful beer goggles. Gotta love denial :)

I thought I was doing the reverse opposite here, I've never denied the truth.
Maybe you looked like crap from birth.
I still look exactly the same as I did when I was 20, give or take a few grey hairs and some laugh lines I've earned.
Anyways, dig them beer goggles. You're right, everything looks better when you're finishing your drink and the next one is lined up on the bar for you.
One of my favourite quotes is from ~flower~ last year. She said: The glass was half full until I knocked it over. Or words to that effect.
I'm fine darling. I'll maybe start to worry when it starts affecting my health.

yours is probably on the right and the left.
the rest of us young, non-alcoholic folk keep ours on the right.
