You have made fun of Men`s Health and those who have "Men`s Health Fitness Bodies" (whatever that means) in the past.
Do they know about this? Should they know about this?
-
Your protein seems like good stuff, can you give me a rundown of the nutritional facts? We use (sometimes) the Biotest Surge as a during a post recovery supp, we like it and easly digestable, the Opticen is too little in the way of carbs for recovery for athletes especially when doing two-a-days.

Why? Dextrose + whey = same thing for less $

Too much whey and not enough casein for an optimal meal replacment protein, but still better than most.

Also has egg albumen, very few protein blends have egg today from what I've seen.
I would definitely get something like Nitrean if something similar was available at a reasonable price over here.
Right now, I'll settle with some whey/casein and some regular eggs. That's fine too.

What would you like to know?
In addition, Opticen has 25g of carbs per serving plus 52g of protein (a similar blend to that of Nitrean). Strictly from a PWO perspective I think 25g of carbs is excellent. You could always augment it with something if you wanted.

You are too cheap.
WHORE!
have you compared Opticen vs (Optimum Whey protein + Vitargo)?
hell..I might give it a shot..
cal you elaborate on what kind of carbs it is?
"26g of Carbohydrates to Fuel Your Workouts: Carbohydrates are the energy source of choice for your body. They fuel your intense workouts in the gym and they are the primary source of energy for your brain. Carbohydrates have also been shown in the lab to decrease protein breakdown after exercise. When combined with protein, carbohydrates help to optimize the anabolic effect of heavy resistance training. Opticen provides 26g of quality carbohydrates in every serving giving your body what it needs to recover and GROW!!!"

I'm just looking in terms of athletes for recovery during and after conditioning and two-a-days, 25g's isn't enough for recovery, but for PWO, yes, it sounds good.

Within a week or so we will be launching MAXIMUS(TM). This will be our weight gainer product and it will have roughly 74g of carbs to go along with 62g of protein (the same blend of whey, casein, milk protein isolates, and egg that is in Opticen). In addition, it will incorporate 2g of Microlactin(TM), flaxseed oil, and inulin. Between the protein blend (not just a bunch of cheap concentrate like most weight gainers use), and the other ingredients this product will smoke anything else on the market. I think it would be ideal for your athletes.
Our products are not NCAA compliant for the most part, so you cannot provide them to your athletes (as you may know, protein products have to be 2/3 carbs to 1/3 protein to be NCAA compliant). That said, if your athletes get them on their own, aside from our products with stimulants, there should be no compliance issues. I would suggest you/they check the ingredients list to verify before they use them. In fact, if they are NCAA athletes I suggest they check with the NCAA before using anthing just to make sure remain compliant as I am not well versed in the nuances of the NCAA rules.
Do you know coach Yoxall at Auburn? If so, he will vouch for the quality of our products. In addition, Louie Simmons both uses and endorses them.

Hey Chris, I'm always open to trying a new protein. Do you ship any of your stuff for sale north of the 49? And, if so, where? We have a couple of big(ger) chains here, and I don't think I ever recall seeing your label here. ???
-
I switched to ON and have been very happy. Getting stuff here is a pain in the ass so the 10lb bags are great. Will try their weight gainer in a few months.

is adam abeles actually blackmailing you chris?
i wonder how much potential earnings you've lost so far because of adam's accusations? a lot of people would be heeding what he has to say now because of his newfound celebrity status (wikipedia ;D, adonis principles, youtube)
is there any basis for his accusations or are they defamatory?
well done chris. btw, awesome effort with the deadlift man, without a fucking belt! :o (you're a fucking masochist).
-

No creatine, you can get that very inexpensively elsewhere (including from us) and just about everything seems to contain it. In addition, we have another new product in development which will incorporate creatine. Our protein does include glutamine peptides in the formula and leucine is merely a BCAA which is, of course, included in any complete protein (and our blend is VERY complete).

No Canadian distributors as of yet, but we do ship to Canada via USPS. A few select gyms carry our products (primarily just folks we have done business with and who want to supply their competitive lifters with our products), but we have made a concerted effort thus far to only offer them online from our site and our affiliates. This is so that we can retain complete control of our brand. We have a very specific message, and we want to keep it that way. We will, at some point, work with distributors (those companies who supply your local GNC as an example), but we do not plan to do so in the immediate future.
We ship the same day in most cases, and our customer service is absolutely 2nd to none. You can ask anyone who has ever ordered from us.

No need for the brace if your back is strong... 8)

Are you kidding me?? Protein and carbs are food for fucck's sake, not drugs. Where does the NCAA get off telling athletes what foods they can eat? It's not like you could "test" for it or anything. Sports organizations are getting WAY too "big brother" for my taste. >:(
-
Yep, in my opinion the NCAA thing is really screwed up. But that is the weird idea that some people believe taking in protein powder is the same as taking steroids.
I was in the mall the other day. It was time for a meal and nothing seemed like it was going to cut it. So I head over to GNC and grab a 50 gram slam. As I'm drinking it my 4 year old daughter wanted a sip. You should have seen the look this lady gave me. You would have thought I just handed her a crack pipe. But I'm sure they would see nothing wrong with giving your kid riddeline to calm them down. One is make from milk and other is a synthetic drug that alters brain chemistry. I just don't understand it some times.

I get pimples using SIZEON. I'm really curious as to what the hell is in it and will most likely get it tested at my university's chemistry lab. It works INCREDIBLY well. No joke, it is insane.

agreed, it's because they have no clue whatsoever so they pull some arbitrary number out of their heads and make it law.
picture a bunch of elderly women over 70 years of age sitting around knitting sweaters for their grandkids and they have been asked to decide on levels of creatine, glutamine, whey isolate, dextrose, vitargo, etc that would be considered natural/safe.
obviously they're like, 'WTF ???' but they have to make a decision so they go, 'ok, blah blah....'
that's the credibility you're dealing with.
ask them if a diet of kfc and mcdonalds is safe and legal and they would laugh their heads off.
now which protocol do you think would be the safest?
-
Brutal going mainstream and being over excited about it. ;D
Just kidding Chris, congratulation man. Been part of building a business from the ground up and I know how hard it can be but how rewarding when it pays off (http://www.informatica.com)
-
but they have to make a decision so they go...
Why do they "have to make a decision"? My point is this is something a sports league has no business whatsoever involving themselves in to begin with.
-
Why did goatboy refuse to give his personal information to Chris in order to receive free products?
-

you're right, they shouldn't decide on every little thing an individual wants to do in a democratic society, but unfortunately a certain type of person becomes a politician.
think of that kid in school that always wanted to 'be the leader' all the time and run everything from sports to what to buy for lunch. he might not have had the foggiest idea what he was talking about but that didn't deter him one iota.
we should have just smacked the living crap out of that kid when we had the chance because he's still running our lives. :(

We offer Creapure(TM) creatine monohydrate because I have not found a better form for the money.

We have his personal information. I think he was reticent at first because we had argued about something a long time ago.
If I am not mistaken, he is a regular, paying customer.
