Title: QUESTION FOR POOL PLAYERS

i have always wondered why the trick-shot masters-the best players on earth- such as mike masse and stephano pelinga never compete in the regular pool tournaments? could you imagine these guys being faced with standard pool shots? they would not miss, ever.
i just dont understand why these trick shot guys never play in regular tournaments,where they could make tons of extra money. i mean honestly during a game of 8 or 9 ball, i dont see a single shot that mike masse couldnt make with one hand

I'm not that big of a pool player but trick shots are scripted and set up to shot a certain way.  Regular random balls don't set up that way.   Trick shot artists are usually players who couldn't cut competitively.
