Post by: Lift Studios on June 17, 2007, 12:28:49 PM: I had the chance to shoot with Krissy Chin today and she is an awesome model. No question about it, she will turn pro at Team Universe. She placed second this weekend by one point to one of the eventual pros in the figure D class.

Her shape, color and conditioning were ON the money!

I know exactly how it feels to just miss your procard by 1 DARN POINT!!!!! Very frustrating,
but she will get it in the next few weeks.

I doubt that had anything to do with insecurity.. would you want to have a woman with better arms/back/chest/etc. than you as well? I think not.

She's hot.. but not that hot. Same reason Melissa Dettwiller is just a bit hotter with a few more pounds of flab on her. Looks more natural anyways.

I can understand that MUVIRSE. At times the girls do diet for shows and abs are part of being under lights on stage, after all they are judged on that. But I found these off season pics of Krissy on her site. One can probably place a safe bet at a night club or grocery store, the dudes are swarming! I would be..

Well, Thank You MUVIRSE.....I take my body to where it needs to be. If it is competition time I have to be in top condition and shape or else I will not fair well. Off season is another story..much more curvier..lol

There is always something interesting happening when we shoot. Chicago a car nearly hit us, New York we were kicked out of battery park and in Dallas it was so hot you couldn't bare to be outside.

Here is one of the shots we got from Dallas.

I have a ton of shoots I am sorting through and will post more of all of them next week.

That pic shows perfectly how I felt in Dallas.....sooooo extremely HOT, boling hot that I thought I was going to pass out! Hopefully we were able to get some decent pics from that shoot. Absolutely loved the pics that I have seen from Chicago and NY...someone is quite talented-ISAAC!!!!! Yes, it is always fun and an adventure shooting together ;D

Just getting caught up to speed in many areas so I apologize for my delayed reply...
I am starting the 2008 season off at the Houston PRO show July 4-5th weekend. I decided to start my season off where I made my PRO debut last year. Plus, I just loved the show last year and how it was run and just had such a great time. I am super excited to step back on stage. I have had a long and productive off season so I am fired up to go ;D. Will you be there?

Houston was a blast! I had an amazing time over the weekend-meeting PRO's I have not met yet and seeing a bunch of friends again is always nice :)! I was very happy with my placing and what I presented on stage. For me I accomplished a lot at this show. I made tremendous improvements since last year and I had a strong finish for my first show of the year. How can I complain??!! especially amongst all the GREAT Figure PRO's who competed that weekend! I also had a chance to squeeze in a couple of photoshoots and about 10 pounds of cheesecake and other goodies and that is no joke! I honestly could not move after I ate on Saturday and it was worse Sunday night!

I really want to give BIG THANKS out to Dave P. for my prep, my awesome sponsors-ALR Industries, my patient and loving hubbie-Troy, Elaine for making me look beautiful with her make-up magic, Mary Hobbs and crew, Pete and Meriza for their expertise, all my family and friends, Lee & Kim for putting on such a great show....so many thanks to all. Special thank you to all my fellow wonderful PRO's who made it such a wonderful weekend!!!

Hi Eat2Grow :)!
Yes, I relocated to Cali this year and I am loving it so far. I am traveling quite often for the company and most likely be at the Ironman again next year working. This weekend I am in Vegas doing demos at Vitamin Shoppes, cheering on friends competing at the USA's and doing some photo shoots with some of my fav photographers. I hope to meet you soon. I will be at many shows this year also so maybe I will meet you before the Ironman. Thanks for stopping in and keep in touch!
