he gave his diet plan for the day and I would have tought that a dude of his size would eat A LOT MORE
it was something like
meal 1: 8 eggs, 3 cups of fruits
meal 2: 250 gr meat, 3/4 cup rice, 1 cup veggies
meal 3: shake with fruits
meal 4: 250 gr meat, 1 cup rice, 1 cup veggies
meal 5: shake with fruits
meal 6: 250 gr meat, 1 cup rice, 3 cup veggies
that really not a lot of food for a 300 + pounder who trains like a fucking beast
very cool dude too, I met him a few times and he is a class act. HUGE guy

ha ha, little over half a pound, 9 ounces.

so roughly 2 pounds of meat a day, 8 eggs, 3 cups of rice, a bunch of fruit and 2 shakes, seems like a lot to me given the fact that he's not expending as many calories as a marathoner, a cyclist or something like that, just short bursts of heavy work doesn't burn a tremendous amount of calories

Current diet
Here’s the diet I am currently using, along with approximate meal times. The nutrition plan was developed but my good friend Daniel Bérubé from XPN. This is a relatively new trend: a low-hydrate diet but very high in protein and fat. The objective is to bring down my fat percentage to 10%. The plan might change as we get nearer to competitions and closer to our objectives.
Diet:
7 a. m.: 5 whole eggs
9:30 a.m.: 30 g nuts
60 g iso-extreme protein
12 p.m.: 300g of choice of meat
3c choice of vegetables
2 p.m.: 60g of iso-x protein
5:30 p.m.: 300g of meat
3 c of vegetables
8 p.m.: 4 whole eggs
9:30 p.m. 60g of protein
30g of nuts

i train at the same gym as this guy and he is huge and pretty strong, although i have never seen him do anything that impressive. i have heard that he is being trained by charles poliquin thats why his carbs are so low.

Looks like a lot of food, but consider his size, Weight 330lbs (150kg) Height 6'2" (181cm) .

that's exactly what I tought
Maybe if he was training for powerlifting but the guy trains in the gym PLUS a couple of hours a week strictly on the strongman movements PLUS a couple of hours of cardio
and in that show his training looked fucking hard
mikethedon: the way he handles 405 on the bench is VERY impressive to me.

I would never to that, you have to have the perfect frame for it but I'd like to try some of those moves someday
a friend of mine would be perfect for this if he stops doing weightlifting
dude is like 6'' and was over 300 pounds at 16
VERY fat but he had a very muscular and thick look, he broke the deadlift record of the school on his first day of training :)
haven't see him for some times now but I heard he is on the canadian weightlifting team now
he was very weak in the gym lift tho, I remember he had a hard time benching 225 lbs

I remember reading in an old flex about him winning the RCMP bench contest. This was probably back in like 98-2000. I think he benched 600 lbs. Completely dwarfed the two guys holding up his hands in victory. Stavios, do you know if he's still a cop?

tu connais tu un gars qui s'appelle Dan (me rappelle jamais de son nom de famille), ya 25 ans à peu près, il danse au 281, ya gagné mr. Quuébec vla une couple d'année???? Tout cas, on s'entrainait ensemmble au Cégep. Il peut te hooker pour du bon stuff ;D
