I know that I will get plenty of disagreement on this one, but technically speaking frozen veggies are just as good as fresh. Frozen veggies are flash-frozen almost immediately after being picked, so biochemically speaking they are frozen at a peak of "freshness." So technically speaking frozen veggies are more fresh than "fresh" veggies.

Of course if you have a garden of your own that would be as fresh as you can get!

And the convenience aspect cannot be ignored, unless you're someone with the time to go to the store several times per week (I'm not)  It is the difference betwen consuming veggies every day and not.  Frozen gets my vote.

Count me in.

Fresh vegetables, especially if you get frozen organic veggies, are the best. Like stated above, they are flash frozen at the best time, very convenient.

No argument from me  :P in fact, I seem to recall reading years ago that frozen often times has more vitamins than fresh (improper handling, environmental exposure, etc. degrades some nutrients).

Choose frozen over canned ANY day of the week.

Voice of dissent here - I like 'em fresh.

I can't make any claims as to nutritional superiority of fresh vegs, but I prefer the flavor and texture.  I suspect these qualities are diminished by the formation of ice crystals which rupture the cells - same reason Walt Disney's head will never be successfully thawed and reanimated, which is probably for the best.

I will have agree with you on this one. I def like most veggies more when they are fresh, but the convenience of frozen work better with my schedule most of the time.
