was it me, or did it seem like BJ didn't let up when he should've (after Jen's tap)?
kinda lost a bit of respect cause of that....

Before the fight BJ said he was going the hold on a little extra time because of the remark that Jens made about knocking out his teeth..

I loved it. I didnt notice the length of the choke being any longer than normal but I will look at it later. When you get a deep choke you want to keep it until you are absolutely certain the ref has seen it.

Yes he hold it and he also let the first round armbar go so he could punish Jens more. It was awesome.

I knew he let that armbar go...what an animal. I felt bad for Jens but was glad to see them kiss & make up.
Anyone else catch the pack of skanky cage-fighter groupies sitting at the front right by where the fighters get checked b4 entering the cage? LOL...they were virtually salivating over the guys ha ha!

He also let him go when he had the triangle. He preferred elbowing him in the head, transitioned smoothly to the armbar, and let that go. It is the ultimate dis to another jits player when someone does the "catch and release" on you.

I agree, it was awesome. Jens talked a lot of shit and BJ punished him for it with a little extra emphasis.
BJ hugged him and they talked afterwards, so why would anyone lose respect for BJ? Penn is an awesome fighter, and I am glad he improved his conditioning.
