Q: How are you feedings structured?
A: It varies. I don't believe in eating every couple of hours because I don't eat a lot of food. I basically eat a breakfast and an early dinner - two major meals a day, and two snacks.
I have a protein powder I developed so I generally have a protein drink with some glucosamine, chondroitin and MSM in it, twice a day with some fruit. And then my two other meals: one is around three-four o'clock and that is some kind of meat and some kind of vegetable, usually a salad.
At night before I go to bed I may have a snack around eight or nine o'clock. Last night I had a piece of chicken and that was it. Before I go to bed I take some tryptophan and usually a little bit of fruit and that is it.
He goes on to say: What I found works best for me is to cultivate the feeling, the sensation of hunger. I think people eat way too much and if you want to have good definition I don't think you should eat very much. So I wait until I get hungry. And the first time I get hungry I still don't eat.
I stay hungry a little while, before I eat. You are not really losing muscle mass when you are hungry - only when you stop eating for about eight hours do you start losing muscle size. Usually when you first get hungry that is a sign that your body is burning stored body fat.
I like to hang out with that feeling for a while and I encourage people to do it to. If they want to lose weight they have to know what it feels like to be hungry. You don't have to stay hungry. If you want to get lean and lose body fat, stay hungry longer.

if everyone ate what he ate we would look like that also but i cant survive with 1200 calories again i love eating food my lack of willpower is sickening

Theres no article that says he admits it or anything but there are people here in town that knew frank when he had the zane experience in la mesa that said he does have to take t3 regularly because he blew out his thyroid. I believe it because back then the info was not ouit and about like it is now, it explains his conditioning above everyone elses and his lack of size.. also his conditioning to this day as an old fart. There is no way someone that old is going to stay that lean and muscular without something humans dont have those kind of genetics, especially a white dude.
But there's gotta be some research showing the long (years long) use of T3 reduces it's efficacy. And increasingly high dosages must harm other parts of the body.
I'm too lazy to look it up right now.

If he'd been taking T3, or any other thyroid regulator for 3 or 4 decades, dont you think it would have either stopped having a positive effect or seriously affected his health, to the point his metabolism would be completely shot?
I think he obviously did take conditioning/anabolic aids, but this T3 story, thats a b.s rumour, created by individuals 1/3 his age, unable to match his condition.

If you read it properly he actually eats 2 big meals (meat and salad oh brother ::)) 2 regular meals (shake and fruit oh boy ::)) and a further snack before he sleeps (piece of chicken) thats 5 gay meals a day

I hate to shock you guys but it was actually pretty common for these guys back in the days to go a couple of weeks without eating any solids foods(particularly pre contest). Many of them would live on amino tabs, liver tabs, and heavy whipping cream.
