Right now I'm reading Timothy Leary's Flashbacks, and re-reading Ken Kesey's One Flew over the Cuckoo's nest.

Timothy Leary's book is awesome, if your into psychology, and wanting to know the birth of the LSD movement and about Leary this book is for you, the king of dope.

It charts the CIA's involvement in Afghanistan from the Russian invasion up to September 10th 2001. What I have read so far has been outstanding.

My favourite book has to be "A man in full" by Tom Wolfe:

I'm reading something about a narrow corner by Somerset Maugham today. I found it in a used book shop and it's a first ed.

Yesterday I read DH Lawrence about Italy. And the day before that I read Agatha Christie right through from cover to cover for the first time.

I suggested about 6 months ago here that we nominate a novel, read it and then discuss it.

Frederick Forsythe, Tom Clancy, Robert Ludlum and the likes are great.

A few days ago i ordered some classics on Amazon, will try some Victor Hugo, Jules Vernes and that kind of stuff. Also some japanese classics, i am sure you can get them in english, too. Try Natsume Soseki, Akutagawa Ryunosuke or Mishima Yukio.

Other than that, i mostly read non-fictional stuff on history, economy, politics, but i also like biographies.
A good one, funny to read is Anthony Bourdain's one, he's a famous cook. Great book, changes your views on retaurants forever!

have you read Nemesis by Charlmers Johnson yet? I heard it is real good I have it on my wish list.
