Emmerson tapped, but Maynard brutally KO'd himself in the takedown. Was a no contest the right call?
-
ya know, I thought about that, but regardless if Maynard was uncons. or not, Emmerson tapped, like they said then if he could have held off the pain just a few more seconds to realize Maynard was out, he would have won. Instead, he tapped, that automatically gives maynard the win, even though he KO'd himself.
Pretty f'ing funny to watch IMO. ;D

yes , rules a no contest , Emmerson broke his own rib slamming maynard so hard
he tapped ,,,unreal

great spoiler in subject there by a mod himself...
as for the fight, emmerson sucks, tapped and should've lost the fight
bs decision
Get the fuck out of here with that shit saddlebags, go back to your rats nest if you have a problem with that shit. It was on free cable and the results were on the front page of every other MMA website the next day, here we are 3 days later and you're pissin and moaning, put a sock in it chubby.

If that's a no contest than Newton/Hughes II should have been a no contest as well.

BS Decision. It's the ref's call. He called the fight for Maynard because Emerson tapped. No way he should be overruled because as it turns out, Maynard was dazed or unable to continue. Dana really loves Emerson for some reason even though the guy has now lost 3 fights on Spike and hasn't shown anything in any of them.

I guess the judges felt that Maynard was out before Emerson tapped, that is why there was a no contest decision..
