Draft Week is off to a thrilling start: The Lakers and Timberwolves are discussing a multiple-team deal which would send Kevin Garnett to join Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles, according to Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times.
A multi-team trade discussion is underway involving the Lakers, Indiana, Minnesota and possibly a fourth team, with the Lakers getting Garnett and the Pacers getting Lamar Odom and teenage center Andrew Bynum from the Lakers. Another minor player will likely be added to make the deal work financially.

yes. and IMO, phoenix doesn't need another guard. They need another threat down low with amare. they lsoe every year because they can't play defense. KG will take away duncan for the most part, and amare can play PF and feed the guards all day when he'd doubled. Who can stop phoenix with ttwo good big men?

I don't see anything boring about Parker and Manu. This team played in the 100's most of the playoffs.
Boring to me is the east. If Dallas wouldn't have flamed out, I doubt anybody would have thought a Spurs/Mavs Western Conference Finals as boring.

basketball was my primary sport although bodybuilding is my fav sport to follow. my high school were 2 time national champions and I was the small forward... I still love shooting around sometimes although my knees are totally fucked now...

I love how people are assuming if KG goes to either LA or Phoenix that they should give that team the ring now. Remember when Danny Manning & Wayman Tisdale joined the Suns in '95 and everyone wanted to call the season off and just have the Suns & Orlando Magic play one another in the finals ?. The Spurs are kind of similar to the Rockets team that won it in '95, one or two champion players but mainly a champion team. That will always win out over a team of champions any day.
I like KG a lot but, despite his glorious stats, he is a non winner. He had great teams in Minnesota and he had a chance in '04 against the Lakers to prove what a champion he was but he didn't come through. He has never really recovered from that.
