Title: The end of the supplement industry is nigh!!!!

Subject: The near "future" of supplements

http://www.natural-body-building-tips.com/supp-special.html

Hi Daniel!

Yesterday I was on the phone with one of my "insiders" in the
supplement manufacturing industry and he said he was worried...

Pretty much ALL of the raw ingredients for the supplements we buy
originate from China.

These materials are cheap and produced on such a massive level that
it's a HUGE business over there.

But with growing complaints about pollution, the Chinese government
has begun to put into place VERY restrictive control measures...

...and it's costing a TON for the manufacturing facilities!

What does that mean for you?

Well, my "spy" tells me that costs have already begun skyrocketing
for even some of the most basic ingredients on the wholesale level.

That means that supplement costs over the next 6-12 months are ALSO
going to be increasing on a grand scale.

In fact, in just the last few months...

*  Ascorbic Acid has TRIPLED in price

*  Amino Acids have DOUBLED in price

...and that's just the beginning!

Here in the US, our dollar has eroded so badly (not news for any of
us traveling overseas) which is making our imports of supplements
even MORE strained.

Anyway, I'm sending this on to you because (not to say "I told you
so", but...) I wanted you to see that NOW more than ever is the
time to start taking things into our own hands.

You can be sure that supplement manufacturers are NOT going to cut
into their profit margins!

NO WAY!

Which means that you and I would be the ones paying the ultimate
price.

THIS is why I developed the "Homemade Supplement Secrets" program...

...to allow "Average Joe" to STOP wasting his hard-earned dough on
these expensive supplements and showing YOU how to make them
yourself for a fraction of the cost.

It really IS that simple!

As a reminder, I'm ending my "re-launch celebration" at 12:00 pm
(Central Time, US) today.

If saving money on supplements is something you're looking for,
then go take advantage of this special offer now which includes 2
extra bonuses.

Here you go...

Anabolically yours,

It is insane.  Good stuff Jeff! People need to know this as we are not raising our prices because we want to, because we HAVE to.

So when should we boycott?

 ;)

In other news seems everything "made in china" is coming under attack, so that does not help much either.

Luckily I don't use any supplements; I would rather spend that money on higher quality food.

How long has Bodybuilding.com's official position been to support a U.S. invasion of China?

Good to see you guys taking a public stance for an aggressive foreign policy.

china hates bodybuilding

Does this mean that Bodybuilding.com supports the Republican party?

The pasty white liberal dems would never support invading China.

It's cool to see bodybuilding.com take such an agressive stance.  America needs decisive action like that.  BBing.com has my vote!  I will now buy for them all the time, as they strongly support the U.S. aggressive policy!

The best Creatine comes from Germany and the best Glutamine comes from Japan.

ISOLATED PROTEIN
MULTIVITAMINS
ARGININE (AKG)
GLUTAMINE.....etc

*depending on what company makes them, they are good to have/use.

isolated protein (for example) - where else can can you get just protein, no fat, no carbs, and its not a dry ass piece of chicken?
(unless you get your protein straight from the tap...in which case, i dont mean to pry into your personal life!)  :-X

Looks like the cost of some protein powders has gone up yet again.  Caseinate is now listed at $9.99 per pound on proteinfactory's site and $8.83 at Truprotein.  Yikes!

Egg whites.

Also several varieties of seafood.

Protein powder is a convenience, but it's hardly a necessity.

You are buying old stock.

The bag says "Best by 1 APR 2009". That doesn't sound that old to me.

Plus, in the previous months this years, I've had great deals on protein powder, specifically ON Classic Whey and ON 100% Whey Gold Standard. Even my old favorite weight gainer, N-Large2 runs for about $42 for a 10-lb bucket. And, that's not counting the grocery stores that carry Body Fortress Whey protein for around $8 to $12 for a 2-lb container.

So, again, I must ask from where are these astronomical prices coming.

What he means is the stuff you bought was manufactured before the price increases happened.

You can ask again, but I already answered the question.  The wholesale cost of whey has increased significantly in the last few months.

After seeing on the news that milk prices could reach $5 a gallon in a couple of months, I'm going to Sam's Club and GNC to load up on some of that "old stock". Where's my Gold Card!!!? ;D

I just saw a couple of boxes of ON's Whey Meal for $38 each at GNC (just over $30 with the discount).
