Title: Doc is shitty his pants about my using
Post by: thewickedtruth on July 02, 2007, 10:31:50 AM
I'm on 600mg of test a week and 400mg of deca and am just starting week 9. Hoping for 15 weeks and recently had blood work done and he himself used to be a body builder that used. He called to tell me personally instead of one fo the nurses..that my liver values are up slightly which is normal when on but my kidneys are working a little too hard according to the bloodwork. Says I should look into cutting back but didn't want to advise beyond that. So could it possibly be my protein intake fucking with my kidneys on top of the juice? If I had to cut something back, what would you guys choose? I have seen great strength and solid gains but am getting fatter too with all this food as well. Eating about 4k cals a day but in all honesty I don't look like a juicer, I only lift like one. Kinda sad with those kinda numbers on my 3rd cycle. I was thinking maybe going 400e/200deca at the lowest to finish out but wanted advice from the boys first. What do you guys think?

What were your liver values? Are you on any orals right now? Since you're only planning another six weeks I don't see the point in cutting back - unless there's some serious red flags you're not telling us. As for the kidney's it could be related to protein intake - are you taking in enough fluids? Are you on any other supplements?

nope just eating alot with NO orals. I prefer injectables. Nothing too serious because I asked but he woudln't give me numbers. He just said if I stick with what i'm doing for a long  period of time I could start to see signs of damage. Now I'm weighing in at 248 and eating about 450grams or so of protein a day. I told you everything that he todl me as soon as I got off the phone though I did request a copy of the blood work just incase. I'm drinking about a gal of water a day but thinking I should be taking in more. That's a gal of water on top of everything else I drink.

That's odd that he's not giving you the numbers. In my humble opinion I wouldn't sweat it too much. However, you may want to drop the protein intake down a little - maybe 300grams per day. I cut mine drastically & was pretty happy with the results.

Hey - HE HAS TO GIVE YOU THE F'n #'s!!  That's YOUR info, not his!
I'd demand them.  He aint the only Dr in the world. These assholes will pull some real stunts, trust me I know too well.
Get a copy of them Labs if you got to pay. Its your right to them, that's the LAW!

Bro Im no doc and I dont want to give medical advice so dont take this as such, but you might want to consider taking some cranberry extract, and upping your water intake. What made you get blood work done while on cycle? Hope everything turns out well bro!

LOL CALM DOWN! My doc and I are pretty tight when it comes to our doctor patient relationship. He's always said he'd be square with me if I was going to use to make sure I don't fuck things up and he's been nothing but straight up. He said he'd fax me a copy and to call him so we can cover over it on the phone. He doesn't even want his nurses in on this, he said he will do it himself to make sure we're both square. He said he wouldn't ever write me a script and I told him I woudln't jeopardize his job like that but beyond that he'd advise me accordingly. He's a good guy and like I said, has competed and used in the past.

You're supposed to get it done every few weeks to catch any sort of symptoms of serious damage BEFORE they become too serious to avoid and address. Why WOULDN'T you get blood work done while on?

cutting down to 300 grams/protein a day from 450 is probably a very good idea.

Doctors always say you are dying.....

Yeah, that's for sure, dr's pull all kinds of crap all the time, and if you ever dear to question them...

One bitch of a dr actually said "weight training and high protein foods are dangerous." She didn't care to explain why. Then she went on to say: "i advise you switch to running instead of weight lifting."

I asked why? Is something wrong with me? She said "no, but i think running is better!"

I said: "yeah, yeah, yeah, give me my antibiotics! I was there because of a sinus infection...
This happened about a year ago...
It's vital to find a doc that's living on this planet...

Hey I thought you guys had GREAT Medical care in the Euro Socialist Utopias ;D.
It CANT be worse'n the States. Bangkok is better IMO.

Well, yes and no. You have to remember i'm talking from my point of view. For "normal" people the health care is good. It's free, you get an appointment allmost immeadietly and the medication is really cheap. I'm only pissed off, because every time i go to the doc i turns into lecture, or it use to. Now i have found a couple of docs that help me without the needless BS. I know that over there (US) healthcare is expensive and not in the reach of everyone.

I wound't mind the lectures if something was wrong with me or i would be doing something dangerous. Thankfully i haven't have to go to the doc for a while...

YOu ought to take a trip to "Urgent Care" over here!
Expect a 2 hr wait at least.

Do you have baseline numbers?  If not, there's no telling what could be the cause, including the protein intake, although it is pretty high (unnecessary IMO).  Unless you have underlying kidney issues, the high protein shouldn't be a problem, just a waste.

No man I'm just saying. I don't take anything personally unless it's an obvious open attack. I was only asking why you don't. No beef in this house man I'm square if you are.  ;D  Why not get your blood checked regularly though? Especially if it can catch things early on?

whats the point of running a cycle like that if you dont even get the results. If I ran that I would be so blown up It would be hard to deny usage. I get real irritated with all these people who run somewhat heavy cycles and look like billygunz or worse. I would honestly listen to your doctor drop the dosage a bit.
You lift like a juicer but dont look like one- thats either because you have awful genetics or awful form one of the 2.

Maybe he was saying his body fat is a little high, or he has a hard time putting on muscle?

I agree with the guy on one thing though and that is I see no reason to not get blood work done on cycle, if something is way off you will know.  Cant hurt anything.

Yeah this time I'm not holding any water what so ever. Which is what's happened in the past and I'm gaining weight but slowly I kept my body fat the same save the last few lbs have throw it up a few. I've been eating everything I can get my hands on. I LIFT big and bust ass in the gym and have done all I can to peg my diet with alot of carbs but I've never eaten alot of carbs either on or off my entire lifting career. So putting on weight is EASY but putting on solid CLEAN weight has been difficult. I've gained over 12lbs on this cycle so far and put on inches on my body. I'm happy but I do'nt have that JUICED look. I'm just big. If my body fat dropped I'm sure people would assume...hell most already do but I do'nt see much change at all. In my training log I have all my info and pics available too. I like the thick off season look but, let me clarify...NOT THE FAT LOOK! I want to be BIG as well as strong. I have the strenght, just not the size I want. 6'@250@17% isn't very becoming.

Well if you want a leaner look, that is all diet.  So you know what you gotta do.  Get that BF down to 10-12% and you will have the "more becoming look" and I bet still most of your strength.

Size is somewhat of an illusion.

Like L2H said, it's all diet. Your goal is to get bigger, but you don't want more fat, you don't want to put on more fat. Well, if you are, then you should reevaluate your diet. Everyone says you got to eat big to be big, this is true, but only to a point. The "eating big" does not applie to everyone the same. One guy may be able to eat 4000kcl/ed and 500g carbs/ed and stay fairly lean while adding muscle. Then there are guys like me, who if they eat this way, they do get bigger and stronger, but they inevitably get fatter too. From the sound of it, you need to back down the total kcl/ed and back down on the carbs...try eating a more balanced diet of the 3 nutrients.

On your kidneys, question, does it hurt when you pee?

Not at all. I drink enough to piss clear AND i don't get a low back pump what so ever. Nothing to be alarmed over. Now I WOULD shit my pants if my skin started turning yellow and be worried about my liver but til then. : P:D

Sounds like you ok then...but you still might ease the protein back a little. I was cramming down 400+g/ed a couple years ago and after a while I got a slight infection that was absolute hell every time i pissed.

Also, as for your liver, I've had my enzymes through the roof and my skin never turned yellow...I'd imagine it would have to get even ridiculously higher and for a long time for this to happen...anyway, the liver seems to always recover very easily and quickly...at least it's supposed to.

Your doctor is a hypocritical lil' shit and he's reciting the FDA guidelines on Anabolic Steroids because he has no in-depth knowledge of the area.

If he gives you a problem, drop him and switch to another GP who is more friendly to HRT supplemenation -or- request a consult to see an endocrinologist.

You deal with a PC physician and you get the rhetoric and backtalk.

Deal with an endocrinologist and you get results.

One final note:  Your GP can't keep you from getting a personal copy of your bloodwork.  If you ask again and he doesn't give it to you, threaten a lawsuit and I guarantee his ass will hand it over.   :-X

It's not so easy Div. Real hit and miss, even w/ the 2 Endos I saw up here in Mad Wi. Totaly forget teh Family Practice Drs! ::)
Neither Endo honestly knew shit about AAS. Outright comedy.
DIY & demand blood pannels and physicals ocasionaly is my advice if that what ya have to deal w/.

Also, if ever out of the States, hit the hospitals for same  esp if no health insh here.
In Bangkok, physical at the Endo & COMPREHENSIVE blood pannels including Prog, Est & Cort < $200
with some meds in the bill ;).  Intelligent, English speaking Dr w/ no anti AAS attitude.

Perhaps I was a lucky mofo, then trabs.

I bypassed GP and got a referral to an endocrinologist, told her what I wanted, dosages etc., and got the scripts.

The shit was routine, no questions asked and it was covered by insurance.

I still say the odds are better with an Endo than a GP.

Wow, hit Vegas quick Div!
Seriously, the worst part here is the total ignorance Ive dealt w/ .  ANd it aint just a couple of them.
2 diff Endos were no better. Best they stick w/  their fat diabetics.
I think they'r are getting pressure re no HRT. Lots of medicine is nothing but politics and fashion. Esp in the Land of the Free & Home of the Brave (sheep).
I got a apt set w/ a new Internal Med spec. See what up w/ them. I got other issues bigger'n

There wasn't any wranglin', Trab.

I told her I wanted Cypionate @ 200 ew......higher limits of HRT dosage.

I told her I wanted Halotestin @ 40MG ed.....within range of therapeutic dosage.

I told her I wanted Arimidex @ 1MG ed........higher limits of therapeutic dosage.

I received everything at recommended dosage with refills.

Sometimes it's your experience, approach and reassurance that wills them to prescribe.

I wouldn't take no for an answer.

I had a list of other Endo's I was going to see if that one didn't give me what I wanted.

Ive got lots of experience w/ the Dr monkeys, it's prolly just this city up here.
The Man hating Ultra-Liberal Lezbian FemaNatzis are firmly in control here.

I got med records a foot deep w/ my back, and sinus & allergies from breathing paint for decades.
Frankly all the other stuff ought to add to indications to write for aas on me.

But they play lets do another T blood test for months and months... Enough. Its just a ploy to keep ya off.
