Title: Cool Steve Reeves tribute video!
Post by: Voice of Doom on July 05, 2007, 07:04:00 PM
Found this surfing...check it out.
Some famous shots but a lot of ones I've never seen.
I like the Queen generally...but I have no idea why it was chosen for the soundtrack...

Caught one of his Hercules flicks on a download of MST3K, never seen it before and Reeves still looks huge!

On a side note
I also watched the 'Hercules and the captive woman' with Reg Park...never seen it before.  While he wasn't as wide as Reeves, shoulder to shoulder, I couldn't believe how big his back was for 1962!  Huge upper body, arms, crazy chest and triceps.  Hard to believe since you have Larry Scott winning the Olympia that year with a much smaller physique.
He should have competed.

The movie sucked though and is more interesting as an MST3k flick.  check it out.

Further surfing brought this clip of Reg benching 500 pounds:

Here's a fight scene from that Herc movie:

That last pic is great!   You think those guys were pulling a lot of pussy back in the day?  ;)

I believe Reg was the first BB'er to really make the front lat spread pose look big, full and strong.  One of the hardest poses to pull off, in my opinion.
