The chin up with a 45kg dumbbell is not anything to wank about either, the one arm chins are what I find amazing.

Behold the beast!!

no not this guy...That is Jack Arnow, he is strong, but Jasper Benicasa, the guy he is talking about is one of the masters of bodyweight strength, that's who I was referring to in the title of my thread...Jasper only weighs 130 though, lol

Pretty impressive stuff.

IMO, it would be more impressive if he had a decent physique and could perform similar feats with the full body (such as WSM activities)

Most people probably won't care on this board, because its primarily a bodybuilding forum.

Yes from what we know Benecasa mostly focused on levering and chinning, but I wouldn't be surprised if he had very powerful planche and handstand abilities.  Also I would be curious to know his leg strength.

A lot of people are impressed by Bruce Lee's physique, I think it is likely that Jasper was more than a match.

A Conversation between Chinning Greats
by Brad Johnson with Jasper Benincasa

http://www.powerathletesmag.com/archives/eight/chinninggreats.htm

"Brad: What strength feat were you proudest of?

Jasper: The double bodyweight chin. At a weight of 130 pounds, I did a chin-up while holding a 265 pound man with my legs.

Brad: That is incredible! I heard that you did 19 consecutive one arm chins! What were some of your other strength feats?

Jasper: I once picked up a 90 pound person with my legs and did an Iron Cross. I also held an Iron Cross with one finger on each ring. I used to do a stunt where I stood on a platform with a hangman's noose around my neck. When the platform was removed and I was falling, I would catch the rope above my head and do a one arm pull-up. I removed the noose with my free hand and then climb up the rope in front lever position."

ABSOLUTE VIRTUOSITY
