Strong guy and good lifts.
A few olympic weightlifters have C&Jed that weight. Gives you some perspective on just how phenomenally strong those guys are.

Good weight. Constructively, watch your form. Try to approximate the olympic lifters form during the beginning of his first pull in the video. I would like to see you lift even more without injury. That Olympic guy is god tier.
-
you're rolling your back & not a lot of bend in the knee....careful about developing injuries
-
Everytime I click on one of BIG LEE's vid's I expect a big guy to do the weight..
and everytime I am disappointed. ;D

everytime I expect Lee haney :(
lol That would be pretty cool!
-
He's not built for deadlifting, given his height. But the videos prove otherwise!!! :)
Be careful on your form, though, as others have said.
I'd would like to a see a squatting video, or something other than DL'ing. ;)
-
strong!!also strong grip!!I envy you!! ;D
-
Some good lifting there Big Lee - impressive.
Nice to see someone with "big" in their username who can actually lift! ;D
-
Wow thats impressive, at under 100kg too, the British champion powerlifter at 100kg Adam Kitchener does that for 2!!!!
Enter a contest man, whats your squat and bench like?
-
No straps!! :O That's nuts!! Anything over 315 and my grip needs the help. :'(
-
Thanks guys. Big Lee is a nickname from when I was younger, it just stuck I guess. I realise I am not built for Dead-lifting but I really like it and it feels good on my back muscles. I do have squatting videos on you-tube under Big Lee Heavy Squats. I think 405 for 4 reps is up there at the moment. I haven't tried a 1 RM but will soon once I am dieting. I would also like to enter a dead-lift comp later in the year after the bodybuilding is over. There are other exercises I am even better at so I will start putting other stuff up if people are sick of Deads. I had 2 knee surgeries as a child due to some sort of cyst so I don't start too deep. I am not sore today from those deads yesterday though so I am happy. Arm wrestling is another passion apart from bodybuilding and heavy weights.

Very nice!!!!!!
Props!

What kind of grip training, if any? I'm set on deading as much as possible without straps but seem to be stuck right now. Any advice?
-
For grip training I never use straps. Also I do very strict wrist curls and reverse wrist curls, for sets of 6 as heavy as possible, 3-4 seconds each way. Heavy Deads with no straps as well as slow, weighted chins have built my grip up very strong. In fact, when I used to use straps for everything I struggled to hold 315 for more than 3 or 4 reps, now grip is never the limiting factor which is a bonus.
-
Remember to do the lockout, and watch the knee's when moving towards the ground and coming up. You don't want to tore your back while doing this amount of weight.
-
Wow, and that was all back too. :o

Good weight, really good depth, and you squat powerfully.
Just be careful of your back!!! :-\ Couple of times you round over (on the deads and squats) and I can't imagine your back liking that too much longer. Just a warning, not flaming you.
You're obviously a very strong dude, and move a ton of weight daily.
Keep up the good work.

Thanks buddy, I get hammered on here a bit but its good to have someone say something nice. I guess I have my weird way of lifting? My back doesnt get sore, I cant explain? I had severe scoliosis as a child and was told to never lift anything heavy? Not kidding!
-
ive always wanted 6 plates a side,,, got to get it sooner or later,, good on u..... i remember seein u on intense muscle and you were where i am now with 5 plates, so your strength is gone right up, how do u feel the dc training has improoved u size wise tho?
-
GOD DAMN...you STRONG AS A MUTHAFUCKA......GOOD WORK
-
very impressive :)
-
I am not doing DC anymore. It was too much for my C.N.S.. H.I.T. and Yates/Dugdale combo works best for me. I train each muscle once every 9 -10 days, 2-4 work sets per muscle with slow negs, forced reps sometimes and some pure negatives. I do incorporate a LOT of what I learnt at Intenemuscle though and greatly respect and admire Dante.
-
Hey Lee what is it exactly you are training for?
You are definitely a super strong dude.

That was nice! I wish everyone was like you when expressing their opinion.

I am training for bodybuilding, overall strength, fun and lean body mass. I honestly enjoy deadlifts, I dip a lot deeper on the warmups, even on 5 plates as I have a video on youtube showing me doing it for 11 reps. that was the first time attempting 6 plates so I was a little timid.
Next video will be 6 good clean reps I promise. I was 69kg when I started and was 120kg before I started Dieting for this comp. I am 98 now and will be 95-96 onstage this year in October.
-
do you really need to scream when you lift?
-
youve obviously never attempted a big lift before then?
-
Making the sounds is not something i do intentionally. I guess it is part of what I need to do to lift 12 plates off the deck. You can turn volume down if it offends you buddy, sorry.
-
Good luck Lee on your contest. I look forward to seeing your pictures. We need another champion like Dorian Yates.

Fair enough mate, sorry if I offended you. I did the same thing when I first started lifting 4 plates aside. Seems silly now as I can lift that now no problems. I'd probably have to start screaming again to get to 6 plates. :) Props on pushing yourself up to 6 aside naturally.

No probs Climber. :)
