Did i leave out pretentious wannabe hipster?
Some even buy this schtik.
-
Nope. Guy is annoying as hell.
-
Agreed. And WTF happened to his eyes?
-
what about Stephen A. Smith? :D
-
I think the worst is Mike Patrick
-
what about Stephen A. Smith? :D
Thought about it but he's nowhere close, he keeps it real and offers some decent content. This Stuart character is all posing, bumper-sticker sloganeering and worst/funniest of all thinks he's the shit.
-
He's okay. Haven't watched him in a while, but always thought he was funny.
-
PUMPSTER GOTA A PHD! PLAYA HATIN DEGREE.
Typical Scott nonsense.. :-\

Nice; take pics when you have it set up. ;)
-
Stuart Scott is as cool as the other side of the pillow :-\
John Salley annoys the hell out of me.
-
Seriously, I rarely watch ESPN because of guys like Scott.
Just give me the fucking score, asshole. I don't need your stupid remarks and lame jokes.
-
He's not bad on Sportscenter, but there are only so many times you can run the Ray-ray and Laqueesha bits.
What I don't like, however, is the fact that ABC/ESPN uses him in other capacities where he clearly doesn't fit...such as doing the play-by-play for the last David Blaine TV stunt. I don't know that anyone would've been perfect for that gig, but Scott was clearly one of the worst choices they could've gone with.

Not if they're trying to appeal to a particular demographic. He appeals to a certain group unfortunately for the rest of us his act is so tired and pathetic that watching him for more than a few seconds is unbearable.
He's the number one reason I don't watch ESPN anymore.

Espn is border line unwatchable. It is all about whatever controversy they can drum up now. A bunch of the analyst are clearly on board for shock value. The lack of actual knowledge some of these clowns have about whatever team they are talking about is surprising.
I cannot stand Hodge.
-
The list is endless..Hodge is an idiot...Clayton is a Manning family ball washer...Jaws ::)....I like Chris Berman because he's not on some much...I like Tom Jackson..dispite his "The Pats hate their coach" comment.

Agree 100%. Now it's all catch phrases, gossip, 24/7 surveillance footage of t.o's drive way.
...and yes stuart scott has become annoying to me aswell. In the beginning he didn't. It's sad when I know exactly what he is going to say:
1. "as cool as the other side of a pillow"
2. "call him (insert: jelly or butter) b/c he/she is on a ROLL"
3. "holla if U hear me"
4. "can a playa get a (insert whatever the player needs here)"
5. BOO- YAH or BUTTA or MONEY
6. anything about UNC
the sad part is..this is all coming from the top of my head b/c it's been said SO MANY TIMES now. I hardly watch espn now to be honest.
-
i hate steven a smith...

i hate steven a smith...
hahahaha
He sounds like some pseudointellectual idiot that you run into a bar or coffee shop.. Coughing up his crappy opinions of the world.. In Steven's case it's sports. ;D
Stuart Scott pisses me off.
-
I like the way S.A. Smith goes from 0 to 60 in a matter of seconds. Even when he's wrong, I think he's funny as hell.
But make no mistake, despite the shouting, his personality and (sports)world view are NOT big enough to carry his own show. He's at his best when he's part of an ensemble and I think he needs someone to disagree with him. He has to be 'set off', as it were.
I'm surprised that Scott has gotten away with using the same material for as long as he has.

Part of this is the advantage of racial quotas on TV, let's face it.

The funniest thing is that he actually believes he's cool sayin this shit. He thinks he's "street" with this stuff despite being dressed to the hilt like a buppie all the way.
