Just got back from Hendo's seminar. LOTS of information, and boy am I tired. Lots of greco tie ups, combination collar tie, underhook. Takedowns off the tie up, attached hittting from tie ups. Snapdowns, two on ones, arm drags, double underhooks, etc.....
All I got to say is BOY IS HE STRONG. While pummeling with others, I always revert back to the muay thai plum. I was able to get most people in the plum, begin my figure eights, and deliver knees and elbows while maintaining control. Someone smart asks what do you do out of the plum? Hendo looks nonsensically at the question, asks me to get a good plum on him (He gave me the position) and escapes effortlessly five times in a row. I outweigh Dan by at least fifteen pounds, am a good two inches taller, and he shucked me like I was a rag doll. Then when we get to ground and pound, he was showing his arm trapping, and hitting with one arm trapped. From closed guard, he two on ones one of my arms, at which time, he holds one hand while hitting me. I thought for sure I'd be able to free my trapped hand, NO GO. When I finally open my guard to stop the head beating, he hips into me, and holds me there while hitting some more. He is easily the strongest guy I have tied up with. BRUTAL grip strength, and hits the pads like a freight truck. My neck and shoulders are sore from holding the pads. Page better be ready, because Hendo is a MONSTER.

Thanks for sharing. Where was the seminar at? Always heard he was freakishly strong. Did you get a chance to talk with him about his upcoming fight with Quinton?
