I said it in another thread somewhere - too many yrs of recreational drug abuse have ruined chris's chances - its a shame because he had some of the best genetics of the lot.

News flash. Chris was looking awesome when we trained together 6 weeks ago. He is almost up to the weight he was before his hospital admission. He was training like an animal. 15 reps with 155 pound dumbells on flat bench press. He is pumped to do well this year. the only down side is that he has to do 4 pro shows this year as it says on his contract. We all know that it is impossible to peak for 4 shows so close together. Chris is the nicest guy you will ever meet. Down to earth and very funny guy. Best of luck to him.

It all depends on if his receptors will be hungry for aas, how much aas he did for his recovery period, and how he responds. He could lift an elephant, but he needs greater aas response than in the past at this point.
I like CC. I've met him several times at Golds. Is Charles Glass training him again?

Chris came out here to Australia and appeared on the Footy Show. He looked pretty good then and that was probably about 3 months ago so he should be looking even better now. He should do ok in a smaller show, but if he were to qualify for the O, i don't think he will make much of an impact. Still his comeback and transformation has still been very impressive nonetheless.

i don't see why not...almost a year break, he's gotta be as refreshed as ever, especially considering he competes back to back shows every single year since turning pro...he probably will benefit from the break and come back peaked and ready.

Dont know where u get the idea that Chris Cormier is boring. When we went out to dinner after working out we were laughing our heads off all night. I was on a low carb day and he was trying to con me into eating rice and kept saying "get that stinking rice out of my face". We were at an all you can eat steak place and we ate so much steak it wasn't funny. There was me and my 2 mates that are both pretty big and Chris and one of his many girlfriends. It was a top night and Chris made me laugh so hard i felt like i had trained abs. He is a class act.

when YOU are up training 6 days a week, not missing a workout week after week, month after month, as he has been doing, when YOU are doing cardio 2 hours a day starting at 5am, then coming back later in the day and cracken out set after set of 15 reps with 37 plates..thats right...I counted em myself... 37!.. 45 lb plates on the incline leg press..until you have to run outside to puke your guts out before you suck it up come back and start the new set and do the same thing all over again..
Then..if your still man enough to walk up to the guys face in person who has done it, and tell him he is lazy..or washed up..you MIGHT be qualified to stand and hold his jock strap after the workout..that is after someone scrapes your little wanna be ass off the floor.

Well, I know a lot that would disapprove of me drinking and smoking weed.. But at the end of the day I look better than them.
That's the case with Cormier, but it involves him placing high. Sometimes no amount of hard work can make up for you doing something that you shouldn't have been doing.. Maybe Chris smoked a few blunts and that threw his diet off, despite him working his ass off. That's life.

Yes, Chris has a massive head! Some blame the GH, but if you look at his childhood pics, you will see that Chris' cranium has always overpowered his body.

I was doing barbell rows this morning in front of the posing mirror in the main room of Venice Golds. Chris walked up along with Jim Manion, peeled his shirt off, and started running through the mandatories. The guy looked damn good and will surprise some of the detractors in early September. I've seen Chris a number of times over the last few weeks and he's looking better and better each passing day.

For example, when banging fitness-bitches, Chris refuses to ever eat their pusies; Why? Because he dont like the taste of pussy!
