with 2 "Jesus Saves" bumper stickers on the bumper and a bible in the back window. Attached to the front inside windshield was a radar detector.
I admit it made me chuckle but then I wondered if non-believers would be offended by this sight.
Curious as to non-believers as well as believers' comments on if they would be offended and why.

It's a very good example in IMO of the fallacy of the "concepts of being saved."
there are far too many who talk the talk, who cast down judgment, and readily quote scripture, but DO NOT live the life, do not walk the walk.

I wouldn't be offended . . . any half-way decent person would do exactly what you did.
It's just the judgmental a-holes who would be . . . and they're just a bunch of pharisees.

Not really. Maybe the person is an unconscious speeder (i.e., speeds without realizing it). :) According to my kids, I drive like an old man, because I typically do the speed limit, but there are times when I speed a little. Not often. Kind of hard to get away with it on an island. I know where all of the speed traps are.

I think it makes perfect sense.
If he gets a speeding ticket, he'll have left money available to give to Jesus.
-
Jesus does save us, but not from tickets- I can attest to that! >:(

Do you grip the steering wheel at 10 o'clock & 2 o'clock?
Do you peer over the top of the wheel with unwavering focus as you barrel away at 7 mph? :D

Nope. I drive with one hand, try and stay out of the fast lane, and typically do the posted speed limit, give or take. :)

probably a good thing for your kids. I'm the kind of person who speeds right after getting a ticket . . . it's something I learned from my dad.

I know people like you. I'm married to one. :) I keep my eyes closed or my face buried in a book when my wife drives.
My dad always did the speed limit too and always stayed out of the fast lane. I guess that's where I got it from.

That's probably a good thing. When you have kids, and you're driving in the car, ...you need the other hand free at all times to flip the bird to other drivers, as well as to give the occasional slap & backhand to the young'uns :)

lol...as a bouncer I once pulled off a very fat drunk guy of another guy that he was beating the crap out of...what's funny is that he was wearing a WWJD braclet ;D
I just don't see Jesus being a drunk, violent glutton.

What would Jesus do?
Set him on fire and send him to hell.

I wouldn't be...But it is a top 3 reason a cop will pull you over...Anything Jesus gets pulled over and suspected for drugs...
