Title: Fell through timewarp - landed in future gym!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Post by: Ex Coelis on July 10, 2007, 12:53:32 PM: So I've been going to a gym in downtown Ottawa becuase they give free access to military personnel but it wasn't until today that I noticed something crazy. I was warming up my knees on the leg extension machine when lights started flashing in front of me. There was a monitor attached to the machine that counted my reps, recorded my rep speed, and displayed my range of motion on a graph.

It was at this time that I noticed that all of the machines had this fancy Technogym technology. There's really no room for any of them in my workouts, but I thought they were neat nonetheless.

I've caught a glimpse into the techno-future-gym of the future and it's kind of cool. Everbody loves flashing lights . . .

Blinking lights always make you bigger and that shit about the rep speed, wow I can only think of one word and that is usefull, even if they all break inside of 6 months 8)

It's the Y downtown. lol - the RA centre. Nothing gets you psyched up like big band music and the smell of old people . . .

If you are still there, visit the YMCA on merivale road. That was my first gym and most awesome one. It's a huge gym on the second floor of mericale mall.
