Hard for me to make it out... ???

I filmed that with my cellphone. The quality obviously sucks. I don't have the tools to rip a VHS. There's leg extension sequence on the tape that's priceless. Worst form ever.

Dude, thanks for uploading the leg extensions clip!!
It's pretty clear to me Tom used all rep ranges and intensity, so he used strict form at some times also.
Are there other things from that video you can upload? I know it's a hassle and takes time but it's REALLY appreciated mate

Ever seen his "before" pic? His legs were as skinny as they come.

and his genetics had him respond to training in ways others wouldnt.
you dont really think anyone can get legs like that by just duplicating his training routine do you? ::)

No. lol.
Merely killing a myth that he had big legs naturally.
I read on ironage and account by someone who knew Tom that he was a weakling as a kid and could hardly push the lawn mower.

hate to agree with bluto but he's right Platz obviously had a huge advantage genetically leg wise as far as available muscle fibers , etc., no way to know until you start training.

Agreement :)
Most people just can't develop legs like that.
Though not to take away from his training intensity. Amazes me every time.

Platz said himself that the intensity that he eventually developed in training is something that has to be built up to gradually.

TP: Well, I don’t want to say that no one else is capable of that. I’m sure there are people who can do that and there are people who can do that now. I just want to say that that’s what I was doing back then, and that’s what was most important to me back then. And it took me a lot of years to develop that kind of intensity. It wasn’t something that I read about in a bodybuilding magazine and just started doing right from the outset.
You know, I wasn’t capable of actually pushing my body and my mind that far at the beginning of my career. It took 15 years for my body to be trained to that point, for my nervous system to really be trained to that point. I mean, after a squat set like that, I can remember my back bleeding. The bar was real heavy and I think I had a heavy scab on my back from squatting previously and the scab broke open. I remember blood going down the shirt. I mean, it’s crazy stuff we did, but was just the feeling . . .
And one time at Armento’s Gym back in Detroit when I was doing an intermediate workout, I remember my nose started bleeding – there was blood all over the place – but I kept on squatting.""

nose bleed isnt that uncommon

I didn't say that as a putdown. I think Tom is pretty damn cool and I like his style. Though anyone else training like that would be ridiculed and possibly thrown out of the gym haha.

training like what?
Humping the machine like Tom does. You have to admit that he uses pretty "unusual" form there.

Is there other stuff from that video you can film and upload?
Platz for the win
