ESPN reports Oklahoma is on probation for 3 years, loses some scholarships and forfeits all of their games from the 2005 season.

The whole retroactive penalty with having to forfeit losses is kind of stupid.

I kind of agree, but if they did this to Oklahoma then USC defintely deserves something.

Exactly.  You can't change history...  the games happened the way they happened, and re-writing history after a season is over is dishonest and wrong, period.  (not to mention stupid, since what practical effect does it have?)
