We'll see in a few months...when the complete report is laid out before congress. I'm sure the Dems will use this as a measurement of failure.

when we stop having to spend 12 billion a week there and US soldiers stop dying at the rate they are then i will deem the events as progress.

Until then, what difference do these benchmarks make does?

The money won't stop. If we can continue to enjoy some of the sucess in places like AL Anbar, we might have a chance. I think its too late and these people are unreachable...but I'm willing to give them until Sept.
