Anyone ever watch that show?
Most of us are too heavy or tall to pull off most of the 2nd stage stunts.
Most of those guys probably tip the scales around 130.

That show is awesome. Love watching it. Some of those guys are pretty agile.

The later stages would be almost impossible for the average, athletic build american guy.

Flex Wheeler did!

One of the better shows on tv. Supprised we don't do this american style and call it Warrior challenge or something.
Stage 3 untimed is always the best part.

they'd have a hell of a time finding any americans in good enough shape to complete even one course of that show. there's a reason most of the fear factor challenges involve eating things instead of physical challenges.

Aside from gymnasts, who would have that much upper body strength while having really low bodyweight.

Think you've got what it takes to be a Ninja Warrior?
http://upload.g4tv.com/upload/ninjawarrior_upload.aspx (http://upload.g4tv.com/upload/ninjawarrior_upload.aspx)
Then prove it! Upload your video showing us why we should send you to Japan to compete in a Ninja Warrior competition. Your video needs to demonstrate that you possess the extraordinary physical skills necessary to conquer Ninja Warrior's notoriously difficult obstacles. We're looking for warriors with strength, speed, agility, balance and endurance. Your video also needs to prove you have the on-screen charisma to stand out from the hundreds of other potential Ninja Warrior contestants.
Finally, be creative. There are lots of ways to show us you're camera ready and tough enough to be a Ninja Warrior and we want to see them. So give it your Ninja best and get working on that video. But please, don't do anything that would place you or anyone else in danger.
G4 will select ten semi-finalists. Come back to this page August 3rd and vote for your favorite competitor... These votes will determine the three finalists who will appear on Attack of the Show, where they'll need to demonstrate an assortment of "Ninja Warrior" skills and abilities. The grand prize winner selected by G4 will be flown to Japan to compete in a taping of Ninja Warrior, and their amazing journey will be featured in a one-hour special airing this fall on G4, leading up to the premiere of all-new "Ninja Warrior" episodes.

Thats the point you don't need a lot. Half the fun of the show is watching people fail.

One of the 2 or 3 men to beat the entire course (Nagano) was once introduced at 140lbs @ 5'4".
