Title: pm questions answerd
Post by: gh15 on July 17, 2007, 01:40:51 PM
few bodybuilders from this site keep asking me why are painkillers needed in bodybuilding in particular,,i try to avoid discussing it but ill say couple things about it and it will be clarified

no matter how much drugs you take,,,you still get to a point that only lifting big will grow you,,even if for couple little mili inches,,,
the ones who choose seo are the ones who try to avoid the big lifting and preach for lowering the weight (aka milos sacrev,,dim,,you get the idea) which is good but you will get to a point where you stop growing and no matter how saturated your muscles/blood is with hormones at the higher levels,, more growth of actual muscle will only take place if you go through heavy lifting,,very heavy lifting,,tom prince is a very good example so is ron colman of heavy lifting,,very heavy lifting,,

not all pros/top amatuers go through this,,some prefer short cuts and you can grow well with moderate lifting,,but there is always this time when you want more and cant get more and that is where heavy lifting or seo come to play ,,or both!

now,,how painkillers come into the picture,,

the same bodybuilders take the painkillers inorder to go through the pain of heavy lifting,,,you knkow when you hold in your arms 2-3 45 plates each side of the bar and make your curls,,it is painfull,,very very painful especially when you carry so much muscle and your tendoins/bones are prone to injury because of the mass,,

when taking painkiller the pain is gone and you dont feel a thing but buzz and high,, with zero pain on the surface,,brain dont feel a thing thus you can go and continue growing couple more mili inches,,
most guys today are lazy and use only seo,,,but arnold and kevin and dorian and many estern europians used and still use to this date painkillers for this specific reason,,,'pain barrier on the way to bigger muscle' ,,infact plenty of american pros use painkillers but to be honest with you i dont know for what because they dont lift no heavy weight,,only one i saw go crazy on the weights was thomas and branch,,many others use it to get high and feel good about all their problems by not feeling a thing :D and that is where the problem is

the ones who die are the ones who get addicted and abuse those painkillers because they like the high feeling,,those are the ones who end up dieing and then put bad light on bodybuilding as sport

Calm down, Dave, it's really not that serious 8)

So, was gh15 telling the truth when he claimed to be a top 10 recent Olympia contender? ::)

Come on mate, you're smarter than that.  He's not a pro.  The other pros on here know that, as do most of the regular posters.

Come back to the V board, we need to give you your bitch treatment for today. ;D

It's an intentional way for him to hide his real writing style.  If you read his posts, it's obvious gh15's grasp of English is perfectly fine.  He botches it on purpose to make it hard to trace.

Yeah, I know for a fact his English is fine.  I've pointed that out several times in the past week, in threads where I saw his English suddenly get better in certain posts.  It's pretty transparent, he's not fooling anyone.

Few thoughts......

I do not lift EXTREMELY heavy, but iv squatted 315x20 reps, 225xfailure where i fell (im guessing 30+ reps) and iv leg pressed 8 plates for 50 reps (few pauses in between reps).  Anyway... thats about as painful as it gets. You are literally shaking and pouring sweat at the end of the set to the point where you cannot even see. High reps, NOT heavy weight.  Explain to me why the pro's NEED painkillers to do this?

he's talking about shit like Tom Prince used to do like 455 pound smith shoulder presses, 495 pound close grip benches, 950 pound hack squats, curling 100 pound dumbbells, etc., that shit would be painful.

true but on the JOINTS AND TENDONS, not the muscles.  I wouldnt want a pain killer in me during that, because if something starts to go wrong you never feel it coming.  Good way to get injured or tear a muscle if you ask me.

It's interesting to get an inside look, but some of his claims seem a little out there. Bodybuilders injecting GH six times per day?

Dont get ignorant 2P4U. Those numbers are a once in awhile thing maybe to target some deep tissue areas and release some lactic acid. You wouldnt do this every fckn day, nobody does.

GH 15 i like you bro, but arent you concerned people will read this and start using pain killers to aid their workouts, England is full of guys who no longer train but still use nubain like Junkies, and anyone whos been there knows its a very addictive thing to use whilst training.
I realise you want to educate people about the pros but just remember a heap of getbiggers are going to follow what you say man, present the truth but please also state the other Truths that nubain has ruined a lot of lives not just carrears and all the way up to the Olympia.

yes yes,,what this fella says to the 10th degree!
make it bold and put it at the begginign of my posts because it is important for you to understand that this is ONLY ONLY ONLY ONLY FOR BODYBUILDERS WHO BEEN AT IT FOR YEARS AND ARE SERIOUS ABOUT BODYBUILDING,,NOT FOR THE BEGGINER!!!! YOU WILL GET SICK YOU MIGHT GET ADDICTED YOU WILL QUIT LIFTING AFTER YOU FOUND YOUR 18 YEAR OLD HOTTIE AND YOUR HEALTH WILL GO TO CRAPS! THIS IS FOR BODYBUILDERS WHO LIVE AND BREATH BODYBUILDING AND LIVE OFF BODYBUILDING AND EVEN THEY ARE AT RISK,,AND DO NOT DO IT FOR ANY OTHER REASON THAN BODYBUILDING AND THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF COMPETITION

no one need painkillers,,plenty of bodybuilders do not touch it and are still beasts,,they may not do the arnold but they are still very very very big

like this  fella says,,do not abuse painkillers,,it will kill you it will put you in jail and it will hurt you in the long run with your personal use of hormones!,,

now painkillers is risky,,insulin i could care less if you know how to use it and femiliar with it,,but painkillers even if femiliar with and know how to use can and will hurt your health to the point of killing you,,you WILL GET ADDICTIVE if not careful,,you will lose kidny or 2 if not careful,,and you will fuck yoruself up to an unimaginable never to return to degree that you can see now days walking among us (without mentioning names)

painkillers are indeed painkillers but they are also organ killers and the best at that
