Post by: kawaks on July 20, 2007, 01:38:24 AM: TWENTY-NINE people have been charged after a national blitz on the smuggling of steroids, growth hormones and other illegal performance enhancing drugs.

Officials said 1335 separate shipments of performance and image enhancing drugs (PIEDs) had been seized since Operation Kasha started nine months ago.

He said abuse of such drugs had significant health risks and side effects.

i wish i was a reporter at the press conference so i could ask him precisely what 'significant health risks and side effects' so i could watch his dumbfounded expression as he stutters and stumbles in a feeble attempt to explain that which he has no idea.

why aren't they seizing alcohol and cigarette shipments? now those are some puppies that really do have 'significant health risks and side effects'.
