seems like everyone says it is impossible to burn fat and put on muscle
i call bullshit
to burn fat you must be in a caloric deficit, to put on muscle you must be in caloric excess, i agree
but if you wake up and do 30-60min cardio first thing empty, your body will burn fat, then follow the rest of the day with higher calories especially around weight training when the body is in the most anabolic state which will gain you lean mass
everyone seems to think the body waits till the end of the day and calculates total calorie intake then decides whether to lose or gain....such bullshit....your body decides whether to gain or lose every few hours during digestion and energy usage
i am currently doing this and i have lost 1 lb in 3 weeks.....my waste and abdomen are smaller, and arms/shoulders/legs/chest have increased slightly.....of course you cannot put on muscle as fast but it can be done while reducing fat
-
let's see some pictures.

let's see some pictures.
imagine that...squad wants pictures....
no way dude, i have seen what happens when people post photos
plus i have no before photo so a current one would do nothing.....it has only been 3 weeks so the changes aren't huge but i have
lost a total of 2-3/4" from waist and abdomen....the added inches are very minimal being 3 weeks and i am natural

translation=you're full of shit.

Your body is not a calculator, the caloric deficit and excess theories are useless

i have no reason to lie....i have never made bullshit claims and never will.....i have nothing to gain from this
i would however like people to realize it is possible to burn fat/gain lean mass simultaneously with proper timing

i agree, it is more about timing and types of fuel than amounts

I think your kidding yourself son, you may look better but I expect you are tightening up and have actually lost more weight than you're telling us.
Maybe i'm wrong but I would need to see proof to the contrary.

It has way more to do with what stage u are at in your training. Are you starting out (or in your first few years) as a beginner when gains come easily from lifting, and when your body responds very easily? If yes, then it is very possible to do both at the same time---burn fat/build muscle. However, if your pretty maxed out in your development and training, and muscle gains come slowly, at this stage it is vitually impossible for it to happen simultaneously. I have 12 years of training under my belt, but now, when Im in fat loss mode, I cannot build muscle...I just try to keep what I do have. Make sense?

It can be done if you're previously untrained. It's very difficult or impossible if you have trained for a few years.

Years are not wasted! Sounds to me like you had some good times when you should have (in your 20s). Many BBers look back on their teens and 20s and remember nothing but eating, sleeping, and training. Many would say those were "wasted years"
