What an idiot. Talk about throwing your career away two cases pending, then a personal injury lawsuit against you for another alleged drug incident.
Wonder if she will do jail time now?
Just heard in CNN she's back in rehab ::) I think it's obvious that tactic of media manipulation is not working.

ya she was caught early this morning driving while intox. when they searched her at the police station she had coke on her.
sooooooooo... today she was charged with DUI, possesion of coke, driving with a suspened license, and brining drugs into a jail.
i think she may really be screwed this time. i smell "some" jail time on this one. shes becoming a serious repeat offender.

6 months to a year in jail. A friend of mine is an LA defense attorney and he's 100% positive
that this will happen. Especially after how the justice system fucked up the Paris Hilton jail fiasco.

I was watching the news this morning and she had her publicist tell the media that the cocaine wasn't hers. Like that really makes a fucking difference! It's possession of narcotics whether it's yours or not, because guess why.......

How much jail time do you think she will get? Is her offense worse than Michael Vicks in your opinions? it would be a shame if she got more time than him imo.

They should give her a slap on the wrist and tell her to not drive drunk. She never murdered dogs by torture or really hurt anyone.

Remember, she has a previous DWI case pending when she slammed her 600SL Mercedes into a tree a couple of months back. She's going to do 6 months to a year, minimum. Especially after the Paris Hilton jail fiasco and how bad the justice system fucked that one up. They won't make the same mistake with another Hollywood celebrity due to the impending media and public backlash.

i dont think shell get that much time. i say 60-90 days. the justice system does seem to be cracking down on celebrities more so now than ever...but she is still a celebrity :-\

No way, Blinkman. Two DUI's within 3 months and now a narcotics possession charge?
I repeat, after the Paris Hilton clusterfuck with the early prison release, the media and general public will DEMAND more than 3 months in jail to set an example that celebrities shouldn't receive preferential treatment.

I agree, like many people have mentioned on here, why didn't the rich bitch just get a limo or a cab? I know that if I am too fucked up to drive I can get a cab home for 30 to 50 bucks pretty much wherever I am. Some people are just stupid.

You're absolutely right. Normal people decide to risk driving home instead of spending 30-50 bucks on a cab ride because of the aggravation of having to leave your car somewhere overnight and having to get it the next morning. Most decide to take that risk because of the odds of not getting pulled over versus getting pulled over.
I'm not trying to defend this type of behavior BUT....if you've had just a few beers and not trashed, you just need to drive the speed limit and stay out of the fast lane. But if you're a big drinker......then spending $50 bucks for a cab is a lot better than getting locked up overnight in jail with a $3,000 bail and suspension of license.
