Title: ON Opti-women Vitamins
Post by: Cindy on July 24, 2007, 08:44:18 PM
I gave my mother a bottle of ON Opti-women vitamins and she has never felt better.
She is in her menopausal years and says it has helped with her hot flashes and she is not as tired.
Opti-women has Soy-Isoflavones. I think this is what is helping with the hot flashes.

Princess L?? Any good info to share about Soy-Isoflavones?

Thanks!!

I'll need to refrain full comment at the moment (it's very late  :-\), however, I'm not particularly high on soy.  A lot of it's hype comes from the ag soy producers - do some digging and somewhere down the line they're the ones funding many of the positive studies ;)  There may be new evidence and research out there - not sure.

I'm glad to hear mom is feeling better, but without any background info, it's hard to say.  She may very well have been deficient in many of the vitamins and minerals in that formula and that could be the reason or could be the placebo effect  :-\   ???

You/she may want to look into black cohosh.  Some women find that effective.  Fish oil is something everyone should be on  ;)

Meanwhile, check these out.  Could be enlightening  ;)
