I agree....as far as posing in tiny trunks, oiled up, pumped up, for a crowd of men goes....Arnold was/is the man.

Heeeeeeeeey!! Whats up with Arnold? When it come s to charisma,YES.
But,when it comes to body only,he will never make top 10.

In terms of influence = Arnold
In terms of charisma = Arnold
In terms of contributions = Arnold
In terms of physique = Arnold < top 10

6. Cormier
7. Shawn Ray
8. Kevin Levrone
9. Flex Wheeler
Yeah, everybody has their own opinions but it still quite funny to see Cormier above those names you listed. Cormier took only one win over Kevin and Shawn at the olympia. Kevin beat him seven and Shawn six times. He won Flex 1995 and 2002 - when Flex was really off but lost every other year. But hey... everybody has their opinions..

Cormier at his best versus Levrone at his best comes down to fine details, Cormier had sharper legs in the 99 O vs. Levrone's at the 92 O and Cormier had a better back overall. Shawn is lower cause that bitch only competed for the O for most of his career whereas Cormier won pro shows thru out...and he is a midget .

This is a pretty cool kind of list too. Good to see someone put Ronnie up there with all the classic guys and not simply say he's an alien abs freak spaz, or something gay. Don't know about Grimek, good list though.

If we consider achievements and victories in (and only in) body building my list goes like this:
1 Ronnie
2 Arnold
3 Haney
4 Dorian
5 Sergio
6 Vince Taylor
7 Zane
8 Flex
9 Levrone
10 Franco
BUT, if we consider the top ten physiques at their time best on the same stage (so, regardless of their time), with today's judging standards my list would be different:
1 Ronnie
2 Dorian
3 Flex
4 Haney
5 Shawn
6 Levrone
7 Jay
8 Nasser
9 Dexter
10 Labrada? Momo? Gunter?

I am judging them overall as bodybuilders at their best and sorry, but Jay's blocky frame doesn't hold a candle to physiques like Kevin, Chris, Shawn, Ronnie, Flex etc....The point is that Jay's best, even if he improves, is still worse than any of those guys at their best...Right time right place just like Columbo was(eventhough that is very arguable)...Jay won't go down in history as an overpowering Mr. Olympia like Dorian, Arnold, Haney and Ronnie were
-
And what "sport" would that be?
the one that left you bitter and are now making a comeback to right what was wrong ;D

if this is about their achievements, then how many mr.o's have there been?...thatd be your list...
its the pinnacle. the list would be all mr.o's from most 'o' victories down to least....next would be the top guys from when their wasnt an official 'o' contest (i.e. who was the best before the olympia)..
after doing that, you'd start looking at perrenial mr.o second place finishers- like gaspari, levrone, columbu..then next would be a list from the 3-4 placers, like labrada, nubret, robinson...
the top bb's of all time must go to the most winningest mr.o competitors...Arnold, Dorian, Haney, Coleman.
